This book wis already got me gripped it is so good

Laurel and David are adorable. As I'm reading this, I'm realizing that I have totally read the book already (many years ago) and completely forgot about it. BUT I think I know what the spots are...kinda gross though. I'd be messing with them all them time. Haha

I feel like there's something going on with her inclination to be outside.

Chapters 5-7
(view spoiler)[Ok, so I think Laurel handled her new wings very well, and David handles it even better. That Barnes guy absolutely creeps me out, and I want to know why he asking about vandalism on the property. It felt like he was asking beyond the reason of curiosity or whatever. My prediction is that something is going to happen in relation to her wings when they go back to visit. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5-7

Chapters 8-10

(view spoiler)[It weird that I'm kind of crushing on Tam? I totally think she shouldve gvien him more of a chance to let him explain. He had answers! Although at the same time, I probably would'v been just as freaked out. This guy literally comes out of nowhere telling her she's a fairy. I hope we get to see more of him!

And no top of being a fairy, Laurel is a plant. She doesn't have a heart or a heartbeat as well as no blood. Whaaaat?! It is super cool that David can run all of these "tests" on her to get some answers until she can go back to see Tam again, which I hope she does. (hide spoiler)]

P.S. I think I'm going to post all of my thoughts for each chunk just so I don't forget them. Like I said in my message though, no rush! :D

Chapters 11-13

(view spoiler)[I loved the part where she held her breath. Sneaky Aprilynne made us think it wasn't that long until David was like, "You held your breath for over three minutes." lol

I thought the dance was an awesome idea! Laurel was able to be herself without anyone thinking anything of it. Although, I'm surprised that David allowed other guys to dance with all night and I'm sad to see the petals go. I guess her blossoming period (or whatever Tam called it) is over. Until next year! Oh! And I want to know what they smell like. Everyone says it smells really good.

And then chapter 13. Tam is back! Now with even more answers...sort of. He did tell her that she has magic of a sort. She's good at making concoctions, which sounds more like her mom. We'll see! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[i agree it didnt seem that long?? i loved the dance part i wished we could seen what she acctually looked like with a picture and the smell!! its interesting. david must have been so on edge with letting all the boys dance with her and Yay for tam.

(view spoiler)[I think it's so funny that Tam was so...open about the sexuality of fairies. Haha. My favorite line was probably, "That's what sex is for." Very straight forward.

I'm thinking that Laurel will be able to help her father, in fact, I'm surprised none of her instincts have kicked in (assuming she has some). I'm kind of leaning toward laurel and Tam at this point though, not gonna lie. I can't wait to learn more! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17 - 19

(view spoiler)[ i loved chapter 17 when she didnt want to be alone and david was there for her. but i feel really upset for her dad.

that other scene was really weird with barnes but david and laurel are so cute. bloody hell she can hold her breath for ages!!!(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Ok. Here are my theories. 1) Barnes is a faerie. 2) He also poisoned Laurel's father. 3) The faerie world is why he wants that property so badly.

I'm not going to lie, I skipped almost the entirety of chapter 19. I don't think any of that was essential to the storyline (after Barnes tosses them into the river, that is). Can't wait for the next meeting with Tam! Hopefully he can help them with Barnes. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I knew they weren't human! Though my first wouldn't have been trolls. Not by a long shot. I have no idea how Tam's going to survive getting shot, unless Laurel helps him. Not sure what she can do though. I think everything will work out. It has to! Avalon though...sounds cool, I'd like to actually see some of it though. I hope now that they know who poisoned her father, they can help him or at least show her how to help him. Things might start looking up. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 23 - 25

(view spoiler)[I really like the way everything ended, sort of. You know Barnesi\ is going to continue to be a problem in the rest of the series, or at least in the future. Hopefully they'll be better suited to deal with him and anypne else he brings with him.

This Jamison guy seems cool, I like him. I have a feeling that when he was talking about there not being a strong enough fall faerie to make another elixer yet, he was foreshadowing that Laurel would be able to...assuming she goes to Avalon eventually.

It broke my heard when she left Tamani. He's been waiting for her for 7 years. Though I guess at that rate, what's a little longer? I'm anxious to read the rest of the series to see where this goes. I liked it! (hide spoiler)]

I had a feeling Barnes would not be an easy opponent. They should've taken backup!! I was not expecting Arthur and Avalon to be involved. Pleasant surprise! I think it will be explored more in the series (hide spoiler)]

I agree that Jamison is a cool character. He's definitely foreshadowing that Laurel will become the next Fall Faerie that is powerful enough to make elixirs as strong as the one that cured her father.

Poor Tamani! I'm torn now. I was on David's side but not so sure anymore (hide spoiler)]
