I'm with Susan on this.... Well said! :-))))

I write mine sizzling hot, but try to leave something to the imagination. If I give you a bit of a description and behaviours hopefully your own mind fills in the blanks so you have your own vision.
I've read plenty of hot guys, often dark brooding vampire types.
Mr Grey just didn't do it for me.
Each to their own.
Enjoy

My take? Intelligence is an aphrodisiac in men. Women of a certain kind have always gone for the Mr. Rochesters (Jane Eyre) and Peter Wimsey (Dorothy Sayers) because of that brooding intelligence.
That type of woman is my target audience.

I think we need our fantasy life (& characters) to balance out reality, which can be harsh.
The kind of fictional characters I find hot are kick-arse ones (Lee Child's Jack Reacher); smart ones with a sense of humour (Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar); mysterious ones (Robert Crais's Joe Pike). But I’ve totally fallen in love with Ralph Brill, a character I’ve created in my own book!
So maybe I do need to be committed. If I am, Ralph’s coming with me (along with all my other imaginary friends)!

Most definitely :-)

I hadn't fell all sexy jonez over a fictional character but I hadn't played games much that intensely
Question 2: If so, what is it that makes you mind-drool over a book character that you can't see or touch? Is it the physical description of the character? Or a combination of that with other things about the character?
Question 3: If you're willing to share, what are some book characters that you find hot?
In the end, I think all this speaks to the power of words on a page and how they can manifest inside our minds.
