Yes, I recently started trying to learn Chinese on the "Duolingo" app. I have studied several languages before, like French and Spanish, but this is incredibly harder because I have to remember the characters. I think in 3 weeks I have learned hello and a few numbers and that is all!

I wish!!!! I haven't had a real vacation in 7 years. I'm dying for a white sand beach, some blue water, a boat and some snorkeling on an island with a beach chair. And I want my girls to see it too!!! All we have here is the Long Island Sound....Blech!

No.. I am retired... so I am home anyway, but am limiting contact with others.

I am stuck at home, just got put in a two week quarantine effective from two hours ago!

Symptom free luckily, but everyone here (in Norway) that has travelled outside of the Nordic countries is being put in quarantine for precausion to protect our elders and the weaker ones. And I was in the UK last week, so lots of reading time coming up for me. Everything is shutting down here now (schools, universities etc).

I’m gonna try to work from home though, the only issue is that I just started a new job, so I’m not that self going yet.

Thank heaven, no. But we are being properly cautious, especially since we have recently moved to a large complex instead of a single family home. Much more contact with others and mostly elderly people.

I LOVE listening to audiobooks. I didn't think I would because I usually didn't enjoy being read to (because most people don't do it very well.) Then I had to make a long drive with my kids so I got some books (on cassette, it was the '90's) from the library. My kids liked it ok, but I got hooked. I still read a lot in print but this way I can "read" while driving, exercising, doing housework, etc. This is the golden age of audiobooks with tons of great narrators and variety of books. Often the audio enhances the story for me, and no, audiobooks are not "cheating"!

TPBM has bought toilet paper in the last week.

LOL.... nope. I was due to go grocery shopping yesterday when my check came in and of course by the time I got there none was left. I did manage to bring home my usual 2 rolls of paper towels, and I grabbed 2 extra boxes of tissues just in case. I think I also have baby wipes here....

I went crazy at the library just before we started having cases here in CT ( not intentionally, I was just being greedy) but now I'm thankful I decided to pick up so many middle grade books haha. Also I have SOOOOOOOO many unread books on my shelves and kindle, so I'm definitely all set to make a dent in the challenges.

As for cooking, Ive got the crockpot going today and planning on emptying out the pantry and freezer over the next week or so.

Well it wasnt exactly recent, its been a few weeks, but we did have a bit of a game night with friends. We got a group from our apartment building to join us at one of our favorite breweries and we played a bunch of rounds of jenga.
