No, not today, fortunately. But I am following my son to football practice and it´s -3C (not Canadian I know). I may find some extra clothes and/or the nearby café, since they train outside year round. (He doesn´t freeze - they run around).TPBM is having a much needed coffee break (I am)

TPBM doesn’t keep hundreds of unread emails (I never understand my coworkers who have 10K+ unread emails!)

I read fewer books than normal in January but all but one book that I did read were 4 or 5 stars so I'd say YES! January was a great reading month.

Haven't taken a class in a years and I LOVED classes and miss them terribly. If I lived anywhere near a university or college I would be auditing classes...never too old to learn.TPBM sometimes reads books that feel like guilty pleasures.
Absolutely... and sometimes books that I start to meet a prompt, for book club or because I "should" read them, turn out to be guilty pleasures as well.TPBM has found a new author she or he loves in the past year.

I never have! I went to New Orleans for the first time last March and loved it. I was just listening to a Jazzfest 2019 preview playlist last night while doing some school work.

Yes, I love it! One of my favourite things to do. But I went more often in my twenties than I do now (mid-thirties). Am going to see Florence + The Machine next week though :) TPBM enjoys travelling.
Absolutely! I was spoiled as I used to work for an airline in my twenties. I got to fly first class all over the US. Sigh... the good old days. TPBM will splurge on a luxury every so often.
Yes! While living in Hawaii, a few years back we had a scheduled power outage one weekend. My hubby got us a hotel room in Waikiki for the weekend. Turned out to be not the penthouse but pretty close. We got the "locals discount". Only ;) about $700 a night. It was worth it though.TPBM has been to Hawaii
Back in the good old days...the seventies. It was so much different than today. Couldn't find a place to stay on Kauai and had to sleep in the rental car. found beaches with no one on them. Very few paved roads. It was great.TPBM wishes for the good old days.
Yes, I am always looking back to what seems like a much simpler and more honest time. I'm sure being young feeds into that. I miss my parents and would turn back the clock to any year that would put me in their presence one more time.TPBM remembers the day Kennedy died.

Historical fiction is not my "go to" genre, and yet I enjoy it when I end up reading it.TPBM plans to read at least 52 books this year.
Yep, and so far I'm quite optimistic about it - I have 9 books read for aty and 13 in total. TPBM wishes magic was real.

I am!!! I've been in a funk so I'm looking forward to using my team to keep me accountable. I downgraded my yearly goal to 80 which put me 2 books ahead and then set it back up to 100 which puts me 2 books behind LOL. So I'm itching to catch up and the read- a -thons always help and I have fun doing them,
TPBM is freezing right now ( I just put on my robe and some leg warmers, I can't get warm)
