999: Twenty-nine Original Tales of Horror and Suspense is the book I have in mind. However, it has an editor and 29 authors. What should I use for author?

I've been gophering and still haven't decided what book I'll read, but do have a question. Would Living in Threes count even though the number is plural?

I've started listening to number9dream. It's a long audiobook of 16hrs so i'm not sure whether i'll finish it in time. If i do great, if not it can count for geocaching. I'm intending on reading a print book with a number in the title too as backup.
I have narrowed my list down to the following options. I am doing two buddy reads right now, so I will choose one after that. Most of these I already own. Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore
You Are One of Them
One for the Money
First Grave on the Right
One Kick
Ten Tiny Breaths
Ten Mile River
The Five People You Meet in Heaven
50 Children: One Ordinary American Couple's Extraordinary Rescue Mission into the Heart of Nazi Germany
I will be opting to read The 5th Wave since it has been on my tbr list for awhile and the movie is coming out soon. yay!
Janice - I started my SH anthology. The first story was FANTASTIC! Thank you for giving me the excuse to buy it and read it this month.

If I hadn't already read it twice, I might have picked that one! It is a great story."
I have wanted to read this for a long time! I am somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, and I often wonder how things would be today if JFK was never assassinated.

I agree with Janice. I hope you like it. I blasted through it because I could not put it down, and as soon as I got to the end, I started over again, a little slower, after the adrenaline rush.
Ooh I had to add Kings 11/22/63 to my TBR! Looks really good..it will be my first Stephen King book I have ever read...I love reading stuff about the Kennedy's! Wrote my Junior HS paper on Robert Kennedy :)
Anna - Thanks for mentioning your book . I have it on my TBR shelf and free is good!edited: It was 99 cents from Barnes & Nobel, but that is almost free. :o)
I read Havana Nocturne: How the Mob Owned Cuba & Then Lost it to the Revolution awhile back. The mob invites Kennedy down kbowing he was a ladies man. Put him in a room with a one way mirror and put 4-5 ladies in there and sat back and watched the show. He was still a senator. Later they realized they should have taken photos. They did it for their own enjoyment. One of the mobsters oit of Florida made mention a couple times in his life of doing so and so like they did Kennedy. Except they had a nickname for him. Among the mob it is firmly velieved the guy from Florida put the hit on Kennedy and the shot came from a mobster but they had paid Oswald to be in the room with the gun. Possibly even paid him to take the shot. That is why he was caught so quick the mob called it in. Can't rememver if it was Tropicana in Florida or what the guys name was now though.
Had quite a few to pick from in my TBR pile. I know someone who is waiting to read this one, so that made the choice easy: One Man's Wilderness: An Alaskan Odyssey
I posted a whole list of good options and now I'm thinking of reading Ready Player One, which wasn't even on my list. lol I am so indecisive!
That sound like me, Kristie. I normally have a lot of things on my TBR that fit the challenges, and I'm always, nah, I'm going to read this new book instead.

Kristie wrote: "I was planning to read it next month, but this is such a good excuse!"It's a great book, Kristie, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Like others here I gave it 5 stars.

Ok, so my new plan is to read Ready Player One for this challenge! :) Finally settled on something!

Kristie wrote: "I posted a whole list of good options and now I'm thinking of reading Ready Player One, which wasn't even on my list. lol I am so indecisive!"I loved Ready Player One!!! I've read it twice!! Or, rather listened to it twice. Wil Wheaton is an excellent narrator.

I frequent Gutenberg, though my husbands e reader is full of downloads from there, so I just steal it from time to time!!

That's great, Lori. I have the audio. :)
I've been wanting to pickup the audio, because I think it would be great to rediscover it with Wil Wheaton.
I'm also reading Three Men in a Boat. I started it today. Have read 4 or 5 chapters. I like it and am finding it quite amusing.
I'm reading Twelve Kings in Sharakhai about which I've read great reviews. It is long, though--almost 600 pp.
Finally starting my challenge book, Ready Player One, today! I'm looking forward to this one. A lot of people seem to really love it.
