That was my thought too. Until I walked into my library today to get a children's book for my reading course.

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Oh you at least have a chance :)
I don't think they will visit my country ever, I'm not sure they know about its existence lol

message 409: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (xanthax) | 2485 comments I'm from Southern Ontario! Why not, where are you from? Sorry if you mentioned earlier already.

message 410: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments No need to apologize :D

message 411: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (xanthax) | 2485 comments I finished my book for photograph on the cover and I will post my review for it tomorrow.

message 412: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (xanthax) | 2485 comments I'm going to read my book for whisper next.

message 413: by Megan (new)

Megan (celtic_girl) | 6287 comments I'm about quarter into my book for blue cover, sorry for taking so long with it - I've kind of been in a reading slump and haven't been wanting to read anything. But I did finish The Vanishing Season by Jodi Lynn Anderson which works for my V in forever (posted it) and Mr. Monk and the Dirty Cop (Mr. Monk, #8) by Lee Goldberg that would work for "Mr./Mrs. in title", but I don't think I have that one. I could also use it for "Car/transport on cover", "Borrowed book", "Man in suit on cover", or "Man on cover"...which one would be best?

message 414: by [deleted user] (new)

I would say check the spread sheet to see what is being currently read and what needs to be read.

message 415: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Use it on one of your descriptions that isn't done yet by any of us

message 416: by Megan (new)

Megan (celtic_girl) | 6287 comments The only one that it works for, that isn't finished by anyone else yet, is Mr./Mrs. in title. So should I use it for that?

message 417: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Megan wrote: "The only one that it works for, that isn't finished by anyone else yet, is Mr./Mrs. in title. So should I use it for that?"
Yeah use it, we will use mine for round 2 instead.
But please we need to finish our part 2-4 asap so stick to your descriptions as much as possible :)

message 418: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I finished my honeymoon location, I'm going to read my woman on the cover now. I think I'm going to put the jewelry - the lovely bones - on hold cause i'm just not into that book :/ but i'll come back to it

message 419: by [deleted user] (new)

I finished my golden compass which is for blue cover for round two of mine. I don't think it can be used for anything left in round one.

I will be done with two today - wedding weather and car/transport on cover.

Will post reviews later tonight.

message 420: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Great job Lindsey!
Sorry for not being so active for the past 2 days girls, I was kind of busy and didn't have enough time to read :(

message 421: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished Nowhere But Here (Thunder Road, #1) by Katie McGarry which will be used for round 1 car/transport on the cover.

Going to start Me Before You (Me Before You, #1) by Jojo Moyes which is shoes on the cover (using a different cover when I submit)
And Incarnate (Newsoul, #1) by Jodi Meadows which is for white/romance

Going to also start The Subtle Knife (His Dark Materials, #2) by Philip Pullman but don't know where to put it yet. All these are BRs.

Could the Subtle Knife work for venue Lindsey? If so I think you could use Megan's venue. No one's reading for Venue right now.

message 423: by [deleted user] (new)

What's the whole description for venue? Does it have to be on the cover or in the book?

message 424: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Lindsey wrote: "What's the whole description for venue? Does it have to be on the cover or in the book?"

In the book OR on the cover.

message 425: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments a venue for a wedding (either on the cover or the place from a book you read - if you want to get married in Narnia that's fine)

message 426: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay. I will look at the book and see where it's located. I know there are a few places throughout the book. One might work. It's been a while since I have read it.

KK. I can try to fit it somewhere else if needed but it won't be for the first round. :/

message 428: by [deleted user] (new)

There is this cover The Subtle Knife (His Dark Materials, #2) by Philip Pullman which has a building on it. Which a wedding venue is just a building. That might work??

I think that will work just fine. I'll double check with Sarah and Abbie but I don't see why it won't work.

message 430: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks!!

message 431: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments The Venue was green lighted by Sarah. ^-^

message 432: by [deleted user] (new)

Awesome! Thanks for asking. I have already dived into The Subtle Knife and Incarnate.

message 433: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So girls we have all the books right now both currently reading and read to finish this round.

Here is how I would propose to finish the round:

8, The Subtle Knife
11, Either Soundless or The Subtle Knife
13, Evermore
15, Nowhere But Here
16, The Magicians
18, Squire
19, A Bullet for the Ghost Whisperer
20, Mr. Monk
22, Devil's Bargain
24, Danish Girl
26, Stolen Songbird
O, Opal
E, An Ember in the Ashes

It does involve moving some books around so if that's a problem we can always wait a while longer to finish. ^-^

message 434: by [deleted user] (new)

What's #8! Cause since Sarah said yes for that cover I could read Once Upon a Time in the North (His Dark Materials, #0.5) by Philip Pullman which has buildings on the cover too.

message 435: by [deleted user] (new)

Meant to be a ? Not a ! - sorry.

It's for borrowed since the only book we have all read or are currently reading that has an 'O' is Ashely's Opal. Also I just saw the updated spreadsheet and Ashley has marked that she is currently reading for Venue. :/

message 437: by [deleted user] (new)

Than let me jump onto my library and see what I can borrow for 8.

I'd save that for 'O' if we can. I believe that Edita is already planning to read for Megan's O but we have three rounds to hopefully do and not too many of the books I see planned have O at the beginning.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Lindsey wrote: "Than let me jump onto my library and see what I can borrow for 8."

If you read Once Upon a Time then we don't need to move Ashley's Opal. This would be an extra free read.

message 440: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I'm goingto read my O description on 16th, Oblivion, it's a BR, but We can use it for the first round and Megan's for future rounds

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Edit~A wrote: "And I'm reading Hidden huntress for my woman on the cover description"

I'm reading a book for that as well.

So far the only ones that have no one reading for them and that have no 'extras' are Beverage and Music since I saw that Megan had finished Mr Monk and written a review. She just hasn't posted it yet.

message 444: by [deleted user] (new)

I will read Once upon a time in the north for a future O but won't read it until tomorrow or Tuesday.

I was able to borrow Burial Rites by Hannah Kent for #8

message 445: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Why are you moving books around i don't get it tbh, just read whatever you have to read, moving won't help anything if we don't finish our descriptions.
Please girls, we planned everything before this month started and according to that planning we should have read half of hour descriptions by now >.< i mean i don't want to be rude but we need to read faster and think about finishing our descriptions asap and not moving books around...

We don't need a #8 anymore since we have so many O's. But if you can fit it in or if you want to use it for round 4 that's fine. ^-^

message 448: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Bookbuyer i think your should finish your E book instead, because when i read o we will need that last letter to finish part 4

Sorry. I realize I'm one of the biggest hold ups. :( I am reading and I plan to have two books done today.

message 450: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Please don't move anything around, why can't we finish just by simply reading our descriptions instead of doing all this
