So it seems that most of us have our books picked out. I'll add them all to the sign up/progress thread first day of the challenge so that your guys have time to change in the meantime. If anyone wants to take one of the unassigned ones just let me know and I'll add it to your name in the progress thread. :)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give up two of my descriptions. Does anyone want them?19. "or forever hold your peace" - Titles with Quiet, Silent, Whisper in the title
10* A man in a suit on the cover
Ashley wrote: "Also I already have some scheduled buddy reads that work for some other goals that weren't assigned to me. I can take the adult book goal."KK. I shall add that in above. ^-^
Lindsey wrote: "I can take #10"KK. Thank you. I shall add that in above. Do you want me to take one of yours then? Or should I just take some from the second round? (I'm trying to keep the amount everyone has as even as possible.)
Lindsey wrote: "You can take 22 if you want"KK. I'll have to double check I have something for it. But if gifts is as open as I'm hoping it is. It shouldn't be a problem. ^-^
Ashley wrote: "I can take #19 as long as I'm allowed to use "whisperer" rather than "whisper""KK. Check with Sarah/Abbie and I'll add it in when you confirm. :)
Ashley wrote: "I can take #19 as long as I'm allowed to use "whisperer" rather than "whisper""That's fine. :)
Bookbuyer are you able to take one of my descriptions in exchange? February marks a new semester so it shouldn't be too too busy for me but I want to make sure I have enough time to read everything I have planned.

Borrowed book is the only task assigned where I can use one of my already scheduled buddy reads :/ If it's the only one you can take I am okay with keeping my descriptions.

I didn't see it the first time. Or shoes if they don't have to be the focus of the cover. ^-^
Alright!I've created a google doc spreadsheet to keep track of our reading. I have it set so that if you have the link you're able to edit so I'm about to message you all with it.
Thanks Ashley. Today is my first day to really find some books that work with the descriptions.
I tried to choose long but interesting books for me to be easier and faster to read them, and some have BRs already, to get us more points :) if someone finishes their descs we should take others to finish the game ASAP and start a new round, do you agree with this?
Edit~A wrote: "I tried to choose long but interesting books for me to be easier and faster to read them, and some have BRs already, to get us more points :) if someone finishes their descs we should take others t..."I'm fine with people taking any of mine. I'll probably be the slowest reader on the team so take any of mine you need. I can also move things around so that we can finish parts quicker and get that points boost if that's alright with everyone.
I agree. I'm trying to catch up on a few books this month. Got sick this month and got behind on my books. But I have a some I plan on seeing if anyone wants to buddy. Just need to finish going through the descriptions.
I'm a fast reader, not as fast as Lindsey lol I was in the same team with her for Minesweeper and wow she was fast! I love my descriptions, I was just thinking that I can read Oblivion for the male pov and grey for the adult novel, but Ashley took that description, before I could suggest to take it as well, but it's ok :)
If no one wants their descriptions moved we can also always move on to the second round as well. I see we have some fast readers on the team so we should easily get to the second if not third round. Just remember that you cannot do the same description twice.
I'm not trying to jump ahead too much but I can also randomly assign books for both the second and third round now so that if people read far ahead they have an idea of what to read. Does that interest anyone or am I going to fast?
Although I think we should make sure we update the spreadsheet well so that we only claim other people's goals that they aren't currently reading.
I like that these descriptions are able to work with several books. I'm putting two/three books on each one so I have backup if I don't like the first one I picked.
It depends on what is going on and that will base my reading. I'm lucky to have my 4 classes all online. But I watch 5 kids ( 3 different families) throughout the week and that takes time away from reading. But they still nap which gives me time to read too.

Yes, I think we have a chance to win if we really work hard :)You are right Bookbuyer, Maybe I should do that, read oblivion for a male pov and use grey for the 2nd round :) I'll let you know when I decide ;)
So we get extra points:
For finishing a part
Finishing a round
Buddy read
And for per 1000pages right?
I don't think we should organize for the third round until we're done the first, but if you want to do the second round I don't mind either way.
We can do that bookbuyer, I agree with that idea, but maybe we should wait, at least 2 days when the challenge starts to see how is our speed? But i don't mind you randomly assigning me descriptions, if they are as good as these ones lol i spent so much time to choose each book...
That's why I want to find as many books now cause I will spend too much time thinking of books rather than reading.
Ok girls, i need to go to sleep :( it's pretty late here 2am, bye~I'm glad we are in the same team :) i think we have a good teamwork :)
Good night. It's only 2:20pm for me.
I think we have a great team here.

Night!I think we have a good team as well. I like having lots of communication for goal-oriented challenges like this.
A think having communication is what really helps.
I can wait for a few days into the challenge to randomly assign the second round. I just wanted to be prepared. lol. ^-^

Same. I find it's crucial for a challenge like this. Plus I just like getting to know new people. :)
I created a post for unassigned books in the review post. So if you finish an extra book and don't know where to put it message me on here and I'll add it to the unassigned or fit it into a description. ^-^
Yes communication is the key here :) well, that's what I think...Bookbuyer, then you can assign us for the 2nd round as well, I see no problem there, actually it'd be helpful! We can organize our books better that way :)

Now? Or in a few days into the challenge???

I don't know, I thought in a few days, when challenge starts, but maybe we should do it now? to find books and don't waste time later on searching?
Edit~A wrote: "Bookbuyer wrote: "Edit~A wrote: "Yes communication is the key here :) well, that's what I think...Bookbuyer, then you can assign us for the 2nd round as well, I see no problem there, actually it'd..."
I could just do it now and if people don't want to know yet what they have I can make a bold text to indicate so?
Bookbuyer wrote: "Edit~A wrote: "Bookbuyer wrote: "Edit~A wrote: "Yes communication is the key here :) well, that's what I think...Bookbuyer, then you can assign us for the 2nd round as well, I see no problem there..."
Well yes, I prefer to organise everything now, so I can spend time on searching good books, if you remember I was disappointed and it was hard to read the 2 books that I chose in a rush for the Jumanji challenge in the second round, don't want to make the same mistake lol
