So, what do you think of Grace Poole, AND what part will she play in this story?

Do you think that Mr. Rochester experienced "love at first sight?" What makes you think yes OR no??

Samantha | 16 comments Grace is quite a misterious, dark character. I am reading the chapter 5 of volume 2 but until now I don't understand what part she plays in the story.

Denise | 3 comments I don't think Mr. Rochester experienced "love at first sight", but rather 'love at first conversation' cemented by the second conversation where she tells him he is not handsome.

I really enjoyed those lines. Jane made me laugh with her sincerity and I agree with you. He appreciates her bluntness. I also enjoyed when he compared her with a fairy

I also loved that exchange between our two characters! AND, this book gets more mysterious every chapter; a turn that I did not expect! I love it!
