For you to read only one books o far this year is amazing. I hope things slow down for you soon.
How do I start and add my own 2016 list?

Go to the General folder, and add a new topic with your user name and your book goal. then just add your books as a reply to that topic. I recommend bookmarking it.

Somehow I'm not able to create my own topic here. I keep getting a body text error message. How do I post topic?

After you put the subject line in are you typing something in the first box? If not, you need to, if so then you need to contact GR
In the midst of this giant move from Shelfari to Goodreads, I also moved house, which you can imagine has taken a lot of time! I'll be back to posting and updating regularly quite soon. Things have just started to get together on the home front.
It's important to me that we maintain as much of our community as possible. I just haven't had the time to dedicate. To put it in perspective, I've finished ONE book this year. Ack!
