SOLVED. Witch that inherited the family vampire [s]

A female witch that lives with and is the sole feeder of her vampire roommate which has been handed down thru her family line. I think she works for a paranormal agency. Goes on cases. Gets saved by her vampire sometimes. Also becomes the target of a killer. She gets protection duty by two FBI agents ( I think) . She gets hurt bad and is in the hospital for a month and can't feed her vampire, so one of the agents becomes his substitute feeder( behind her back) at the end of the story they become a couple. I think it was a book not more than ten years old. And is a stand alone book
