Sentence structure is not Mr. Wright's forte. He also seems to have an aversion to commas. The story does start off with action, though, which is definitely promising.

Same here. I really tried so hard not to nod off but the story didn't intrigue me that much. ><
And I totally agree with you about the confusion of the characters in the middle of the story. I couldn't figure them out clearly so guiltily ended up skimming through the rest of the book.

I'm planning to restart it next week. I think Average Joe has potential -- the story line seems fascinating, and the characters are amusing. I just got bogged down because there are so many grammar and punctuation mistakes. In addition, serious sentence structure problems hinder the action flow. These are all issues a good proofreader/editor could take care of.
