This is the spoiler discussion for Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell, the February Verse pick.

I really enjoyed reading this book. This was the first time (other than Shakespeare) that I read a book in verse. Although it was a lot different I didn't find it hard to follow along, and it was still easy to really get involved with the story and the characters!

I pretty much knew how things would end with Elaine’s infatuation with Lancelot, he’s too busy pinning over Gwen. I loved that she came around in the end and realized Tristan was The One!

I am now so addicted to Arthurian Legend, I just borrowed the Lady of Avalon series by Marion Zimmer Bradley from my sister and I can't wait to sink my teeth into those!

I gave it 4 Stars!

I finally changed my rating to four stars too! I loved Elaine and Tristan together, it was great. I have so many Arthur books to read. Last month I read one from the library, this one, Over Sea, Under Stone is inspired by it, I have The Once and Future King series to read.... I have to say, I am excited!

I am glad! It was so good! It sparked even more interest in the legends for me!

Yaaas! I loved that she picked Tristan! He was the second best character. My mom was saying that in some of the legends Elaine is also Isoldt...so I am really curious to also learn more about that!

I loved Over Sea, Under Stone...like I am obsessed with it! So good. I will have to look into The Once and Future King Series. I am also dying to read the rest of The Raven Cycle series too!

I originally didn't want to read The Raven Cycle, but I'm debating changing my mind. Should I read them?
