Which authors do you want to read more of?

For me it's Robin Hobb. I have several of her books but still haven't gotten round to any of them.

I spotted this (rather old) post on Buzzfeed, and thought I'd share it, whilst finding out whom other members want to read more of. Any of the people from that list? :)

Brit writers only in the list, but China Mieville fits the question criterion for me. I have Perdido Street Station in hand and need to kick start myself to begin reading it.

I think I will always want to read more Brandon Sanderson. Just stared the Mistborn series so on my way there.
Really enjoying the few NK Jemisin I've read so planning on reading much more.
Definitely planning on reading a lot more of Michael J Sullivan this year(already picked up another 4 of his books) Thats my immediate plan for now but loads of others I could add very easily to the lis.

I would like to read more Hugh Howey since I really enjoyed the Silo trilogy, I would also eventually like to read more David Gemmell and PKD. I would really like to read some of the more classic sci fi stuff.

I think I have pretty much all of Howeys books Lancer . I even have first editions of the stuff he did before Wool . Some of it is only ok but mostly his stuff is great. I'd say try Sand next if you liked the Silo books . Its closer in style that the Molly Fyde books or his standalones

I want to read more of the authors whose books I've liked, but last year (when I committed to read more fiction) I made an effort to read a different author every time. I suspect this year I will do the same, but eventually I hope to stick with some authors I like rather than taking a chance on a new (for me) author each time. Until then, there are plenty of authors I am looking forward to whom I am yet to read. I thought of listing them but there are far too many. This year I have a few classics on my shelf as well. I remember starting Great Expectations in high school, and it really stayed with me. Unfortunately I was too immature to finish it. I'll rectify that for sure.

China Mieville for me too! Loved Kraken and own two others but haven't gotten to them yet. Also from that list I've been meaning to start reading Joe Abercrombie for a while now. Honestly I think I've only heard of two others on there, it's an interesting collection.

I still have to finish Howey's Silo trilogy! I didn't like Shift as much as Wool, but I want to read Dust this year regardless.

Okay, I want to read all of these authors. Let's see, what else can I contribute from the top of my TBR pile: Mark Lawrence (hi Mark! =]), Peter V. Brett, Diana Gabaldon, Dan Simmons, Isaac Asimov, Steven Erikson...

Paul I've been looking at sand for a while and have yet to get to it. If his other work is as strong as the Silo books it can't be bad.

I'd really love for myself to get around to finishing some of the series I've started reading.. and trust me, there's a lot. It includes Joe Abercrombie, Scott Lynch and Brandon Sanderson..

The last one I want to try to read more of than just the Mistborn series however. Apart from that.. I always wait and see what authors/books get on my path ;) I never really have a plan.

Guy Gavriel Kay is an author I'd like to read more of. I've only read Tigana and several of his other books sound really intriguing.
After my positive experience with Twelve Kings in Sharakhai I want to try out Beaulieu's first trilogy.
Same goes for Kameron Hurley.
I also want to do a bit more old-school reading and delve into R.A. Salvatore and do some rereads of Raymond E. Feist and continue with his series.
Apart from those Alistair Reynolds, Mark Hodder, Gail Carriger and Max Gladstone are authors I want to continue with.

Some of the authors that I want to read more of are China Mieville, K. J. Parker, N. K. Jemisin, and Ursula K. Le Guin. I have read quite a bit of Mieville and Le Guin. I would like to finish the rest of the Earthsea novels and the three Mieville books I own but haven't read yet. Both Parker and Jemisin have been on my to read list for awhile but I haven't been able to fit them in yet.

Mpauli, I would also like to catch up on Salvatore but it would require re reading at least two or three of the last ones I read by him. He was one of the authors that got me into reading when I was a preteen in the nineties.

I'd really like to read more books by Scott Lynch but the publication dates keep getting put back. I found a video of him reading an extract from The Thorn of Emberlain and it was excellent. Fingers crossed that the July 2016 publication date doesn't change

There's going to be quite a few, as I've so many books I need to get around to reading, I keep ending up starting series and getting involved in other ones before picking up more, or alternatively getting involved in the series and waiting on the author for more.

Ones I'm mid series and waiting on more would (like others have mentioned) Scott Lynch, Rothfuss, George RR Martin, Douglas Hulick,

Ones I've gotten mid series and need to pick up more of would be Robin Hobb, Ben Aaronivitch, Paul Cornell, Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie, Mark Lawrence, John Scalzi (onto last book of Old Man's War series now), Robin Hobb (loved Farseer trilogy, just gotten a bit stuck getting into Ships of Magic, just hasn't 'clicked') and always more Jim Butcher (just started Ghost Story yesterday, can never have too much Dresden in your life), Richard Kadrey (a couple of books into Sandman Slim, not sure how many are out there but it's a fun romp), Chris Jericho (Think he's up to three autobiographies now, really need to get around to picking up the second and third), Jonathan Green (read three Ulysses Quicksilver books completely out of order and need to track down some more of these)

And likewise, authors I've heard good things about but not gotten around to are (as mentioned by a few people) China Mievelle, Neal Stephenson, Claire North (keep having books recommended, and never getting round to picking any up, but they keep sounding really interesting), same with Charlie Huston, Austin Grossman, Brent Weeks....

This is all just top of my head, making an actual list would practically kill me haha
