I just saw a commercial for this mini series which starts Mon.
link here
It seems the actor who plays Tywin Lannister is in it. I have my PVR set to record it.
I really don't know what Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None is all about. But hopefully Tywin does not get blown away by his son while on the shitter in this too!

Has anyone tried the Game of Thrones beer from Ommegang?

I had never even heard of it. I had to google what Ommegang was. I don't think we have that beer in Canada. Plus I don't really like beer to start with. But I would definitely try it just to say I have.
Does it get distributed to beer stores or do you have to buy it in New York? I go to the U.S. a few times a year since I am not all that far.

They do a new beer for each new season of Game of Thrones and the newest one is out (I think) this week.

Exactly!!

I am now re-watching season 2. (about to watch ep 5)
I like 2 characters that I never took any notice of till reading the books - Renly and Margery.
It is fun to watch again with my new background info from the book.

Someone fill me in please (or remind me if I have just forgotten)
So Sansa was first married to Tyrion and then they both just kind of went their own ways and took off from King's Landing.
But then she ended up being forced to marry Ramsay.
So how can she marry Ramsay if she is still technically married to Tyrion? Did her first marriage end that I cannot remember? What is this Sister Wives where you can be married to more than one person at a time? Enlighten me please.

After all, what about criminals who decide to join the Night's Watch? They can't have wives anymore, so I guess that would automatically end any marriage they have, even if it's consummated and even without approval of the Faith.
So I don't think it'll be a big problem for Sansa to void her marriage to Tyrion on the grounds that it wasn't consummated and that Tyrion is now a criminal and kin(g)slayer. And even if they'd still have to get approval of the Faith, I don't think they would need the High Septon himself for that. A normal septon would probably suffice for that, and I'm sure there are some in the North as well."
- This is someone's theory I got from an online GOT question & answer forum.

This is not normally my kind of movie but I intend to see it because "Dani" and "Tywin" are in it. Was I the only one who did not know that?
Me Before You
I bet those two actors likely don't know each other super well. They are not often on the same sets in GOT.

Thanks Leslie!! That is totally the type of movie I love - never realized that was Dani with brown hair! I'll have to wait until I can stream it from Netflix or Amazon because I have to eat ice cream and cookies in my big comfy chair when watching that stuff (plus, no way in hell would my husband go to the movies with me to see that)

LOL.

Yes, it is not usually the type of book I read, but once in a while I find a chick lit that I really like.
Are you going to read Me After You?

Not me. I really doubt I will read it. When I feel the need for some chick lit I reach for Rainbow Rowell. Her books to me are cutesy chick lit. I have been hanging onto Carry On for a while now.

Sorry, I got us way off topic here...

All those names are confusing me. I think I labelled it wrong and will fix.

I did indeed and loved it. But the one of hers that I loved the most was Attachments. That was just a real treasure for me.
And who cares about being off topic - it's what we do sometimes.

I know absolutely nothing about the Mazerunner series. I have had no interest at all. But I was flipping through the channels and scorch trials is on now.
I just saw the actors for both Littlefinger and Jojen!
I need to watch this stuff. Is it any good?

From ew.com:

Summer is coming.
HBO is officially confirming some major changes for Game of Thrones.
Season 7 of the fantasy sensation will not return until summer 2017 – pushing back from the show’s usual strategy of premiering each edition of the series in the spring (typically April).
Also, the network is confirming for the first time that next edition will consist of seven episodes (a pull back from the show’s usual 10 hours).
Plus, HBO added that the next season will be shot in Northern Ireland, Spain, and Iceland. It’s been a couple years since the Thrones team used Iceland for significant shooting, having primarily used the location for North of the Wall scenes when Jon Snow was embedded with the Wildlings camp.

The seasons were already too short for my liking. Does this mean the series will be done after a short session 8?
OMG when the series is done that will suck so badly. Oh now I feel
Depressed just thinking of that.

By the way did they announce a release date for the WInds of Winter???

This is from Deborah Tolley:
Here is my “die-next” list:
1. Cersei Lannister (100% sure) She is a mad queen. She is totally crazy and by this time has nothing to lose. She killed Tyrells. And she will pay for this (Olenna grandma will take care of that)
2.Benjen Stark (95% sure). Probably when White Walkers will be reaching the Wall.
3.Euron Greyjoy (90% sure). I personally don’t like this character at all. If Yara has persuaded Daenerys to help her and Theon, I think that Euron is in danger :)
4.Theon Greyjoy (90% sure). Of course, maybe this character will try to become more than Reek, but I don’t believe in that. I think he will die during the battle in King’s Landing.
5.Lyanna Mormont (80% sure). She is a young leader, so cute and authoritative. A lot of people are already in love with this character. So why not to kill her? (Crazy logic of screen writers, not my opinion)

Cersei and Jaime are two of my favorites because they are not only good-looking, but interesting and conflicted characters.
