Last year I was extremely ambitious and tried to climb the Everest and failed but managed to climb a little above Mt. Kilimanjaro. This year, however, I want to start at a less ambitious height and hopefully cross it. Am planning to read mostly books from TBR that I have owned for a long time and am hoping that I will do it justice this year! Here's to a disciplined reading year 2016!

Good luck Sri! I see War and Peace is still on that list. I started that then fizzled way back when we started that Buddy Read. I haven't picked it up since.
Thanks Rachel and Natalia! Rachel, yes it is still there and this year I want to finish it. I also left it at the same place and time. However, I did finish Anna Karenina, so I am hopeful about War and Peace!
Natália wrote: "I have War & Peace and Anna Karenina on my list too! Let's hope I can finish them this year!"Good luck to you, Natalia! We can keep cheering each other on with these two. I just finished Anna Karenina and found it to be spectacular!
I read Child 44 last year and it was one of my favourite reads. I must be honest though and admit I only picked it up because Tom Hardy was on the cover and I have yet to see a movie of his that I haven't liked. I still haven't seen the movie. I hope you enjoy it.
