We probably shouldn't have picked such a huge book when everyone has exams and stuff :P I just officially finished part one.
The book is really awesome and yes, getting creepier, but I am having a hard time making time for it :(
I still love Evie though...
I don't get why Memphis feels so drawn to that evil house.
AND I believe that the failed healing attempt with his mother has more consequences.
When he chose wrongly his mother screamed 'What have you done?' so I think this will come back in a way...
Oh and the villain is awesome! Really creepy and just everywhere...he fits the book so well :)

You'll see, Memphis is really attracted by evil because his gift is to heal the pain, make the darkness disappear. Or that's how I interpreted it. Memphis is da best <3
Evie is my second fave and she's pos-i-tute-ly awesome!!!
I know, it's a really long book, I was struggling and I still struggle with Lair of Dreams. But books have to be heavy because they hide entire stories in them (from Inkheart)
