2-Jaime made a comment than made Brienne angry, and she stood up, not covering herself anymore. Jaime hasn’t fucked in two years, so he is horny as you would expect. He apologized, but as always it didn’t work with Brienne. I think maybe because he was so tired he told her what happened and why he killed Aerys. He asks her for a truce, but she says she needs to trust him to do so, and Jaime knows she sees her as an oathbreaker, and asks her why Robert wasn’t called like that. Brienne says he fought for love and to save the realm, but Jaime replied he did it for a cunt and a pretty face. He is right though, Robert fought for Lyanna.
3-Jaime told her both Arryn and Selmy went to fight the griffin’s men, and how Aerys saw traitors everywhere. So, he had wildfire placed in a lot of parts in the city. Chelsted, the Hand, begged Aerys to change his mind, but the king didn’t and Chelsted took his hand chain off, so Aerys burnt him alive. He then chose a pyromancer named Rossant, who was his last as well and the one who burnt Rickard Stark. Aerys kept Jaime close because of Tywin, so he heard everything. When Rhaegar died, Aerys sent the queen and Viserys to Dragonstone, but kept Elia close. He thought Lewyn Martell betrayed Rhaegar which I forgot. Pycelle told him to open the doors, and Varys told him not to, and Jaime thinks that one time he should have listened to Varys. So, Tywin enters, he now joined the battle because he knew who would win, ugh. Aerys asks for Tywin’s head, so Jaime could prove he wasn’t a traitor. He chose his blood over honor like Stannis did. Jaime then killed Rossant, Aerys and the other pyromancers, which I forgot. Brienne asked if this was true, why nobody knew, which was a question I always asked myself the first time, why no one ever asked him why he killed his king. Jaime told her he was supposed to keep his secret, and Ned wouldn’t have believed him. He was probably right, given the circumstances and the fact Aerys couldn’t speak anymore. Jaime says aloud what we read once before, by what right the wolf can judge the lion. And it’s an interesting question.
4-He got angry and made a stupid move, hitting his stump against the tub, and he almost faints. Brienne got him before he hit the floor, and he thinks she’s gentler than Cersei. Interesting though, he always saw them as total opposites in a lot of things. Either Brienne didn’t believe him or she was so used to it, she screamed the kingslayer was not feeling good. Bolton still wanted to eat with them, so Brienne would have Jaime washed and dressed.
5-They gave poor Brienne a dress way too small for her. And a pink one besides. She has thicker shoulders than Jaime and a bigger neck. She probably looks way bigger than him. I liked she didn’t complain though, maybe because she knew they wouldn’t give her an armor. I also liked Jaime didn’t tell her cruel jokes, even though he had some in mind.
6-Brienne and Jaime sit to eat with Bolton. Jaime can’t use his left hand for shit, and he rocks the cup of wine, but Bolton pretended nothing happened. Jaime goes to the point and asks about his intentions. He told Jaime Edmure was offering 1000 golden dragons for him, and he thinks it’s not much, lol. He said Cersei would pay ten times that, and I am sure she would. I forgot Bolton sent Harrion Karstark along with Glover to Duskendale, where we know they lost. So now there is only one son of the four Karskart had (I think he only had four and the girl, but I’m not sure). Bolton brings up the reward Karstark offered for him, and tell him he married Fat Walda Frey; Walder payed her weight in silver. I guess Bolton needed silver.
7-Bolton also said he promised Harrenhal to Vargo Hoat, and he was leaving soon to Edmure’s weeding at the Twins. Brienne said it couldn’t be true, and said not to question him. That man scares me so much. Jaime thinks Robb won in battle but lost in the bedchamber. Arya won’t marry the Frey kid, and Bolton said she is alive, and he plans to take her back to the north safe. Interesting he didn’t plan to take her to the weeding. *SPOILERS FOR A DANCE WITH DRAGONS* (view spoiler)[I think the first time I found it suspicious, how he could know where the hell Arya was. I am now pretty sure he already planned to take Jeyne Poole as Arya to the north, and he was in full awareness of Tywin’s plan and what would happen at the weeding. I hate the fucking Boltons (hide spoiler)].
8-They have a little discussion when Bolton said Lannisters lie, which gave Jaime an idea of the idea he had. Brienne asked him to let them go, saying she serves Catelyn, but the letter Bolton got said Jaime escaped, so she was a traitor. Never the less he planned Jaime to reach King’s Landing. I thought he was not loyal to Robb, he should have sent him back, or take him to the weeding.
9-So, Vargo cut Jaime’s hand to make him seem like less in Bolton’s eyes. But the goat was also outnumbered in Harrenhal, and Tywin hired him. So, he was scared of what Tywin might do to him. But now he was Bolton’s, and Bolton was Robb’s. And Jaime thinking he would give him to Hoat otherwise, accepts to tell Tywin Bolton had nothing to do with his hand. Jaime would leave once Qyburn said he was strong enough, and Bolton would put his best men as his escort. But he planned to send Jaime alone, he told Brienne she shouldn’t worry about the girls anymore, one was alive and Sansa was now married. Interesting how Jaime thinks Tyrion was probably happy, as he remembered how happy he was with Tysha. Tyrion either hid how he felt, or Jaime decided not to see it. Finally, because Bolton plans to leave Brienne to Vargo, he tells her she should worry about the sapphires.
