It is about an assassin Im pretty sure that these worms make him do stuff and have put a net in his head. I know it starts off on a egyptian like planet and he scales a cliff to murder someone and he is dressed as a spice merchant.

third book is set on a planet with islands on it and one of them is a cannibal island where he is forced to murder people.
