I love Maven too! I shipped him and Mare so hard in the first book. After this book i'm not sure he can be redeemed BUT I still love him so much. I don't ship anyone with Mare tbh.

Agreed. But I think Cal is still open to a lot more character development. Though he doesn't want to be king (or at least, Mave thinks he doesn't want to be), I think there is something great about him. A lot of potential for something more. Maybe he doesn't think he's part of the revolution, but damn, he plays a good, strong part in it.

And Mave. Her ruthless side, though. Even Cal is horrified.

Victoria Aveyard has mentioned that the new POV is a she and that it is not Farley. I'm going to guess that it is Evangeline, but I'm not sure.

At first I thought the subject of this post was a request for others to read this book instead of the o.p. informing others they'd just finished reading this book. Lol.

hmmmm.... maybe the new POV will be Cameron? If Vic mentioned that it was a female who is not Farley I can't really think of too many people who it could be. Mare will be at the castle so chances are that the 2nd P.O.V will give us insight into the red rebellion and will probably be a newblood.
