ABANDONED. . What is the name of this 18+ book?

I'm looking for a book I read a while ago and can't remember the name of. A guy was driving on his way to work and it was raining. A woman was on her way to work as well but she was walking. He ends up hitting her or almost hitting her with his car, then he takes her to his office with him and asks his secretary to her her get cleaned up. Turns out his company owns the company she's about to start working for. Through a series of misunderstandings she thinks he's gay and wants to introduce him to her roommate who's a cop and he thinks the guy she keeps talking about him meeting is her boyfriend. Does anyone know the title or Author?

God, I know I've read this one (or at least part of it) - he is afraid that she will sue him for hitting her and is quite rude... He buys her new clothes to replace the ones that were ruine during the accident (including shoes) - it's quite a recent book if I remember correctly... She speaks Mandarine or Chinese or Japanese or something, that's what she's supposed to do at the new job - take care of Eastern business (translating or so)....
