Shonari All my dad remembers is its about an American that went by the name of Morgan, part of the adventure was in the Ottoman Empire. Similar to the book "The Walking Drum" by Louis L'Amour

``Laurie (laurielynette) If it's an older book possibly something by author: Thomas B. Costain?

What year did your dad read it? A range of years is ok.

Does the book involve spying?

Sometime around 1983
No siree, not a spy novel
More like Louis L'Amour's Walking Drums, Sitka or even Where the Tall Grass Blows

Shonari Thanks! Will check it out, maybe he will read that one as well. But the book is definitely older as he read it before I was born!

Lisa (med0ra) | 433 comments Description found on World Cat. Private Jeremy Morgan was born to break the rules. As a secret agent, he embarked for Constantinpole where he would defy the stunning descendant of Ghengis Khan, challenge his enemy, and win the honor of his country.
