What do you think about writing a book journal with the quotes you love?

Please do not delete this thread because I think Beatrice has made a good point here!

I think that it would be a good idea if there was some sort of documentation of the debate. Maybe in an own journal?

So we read the book first, then we discuss in the forum and maybe - if this is possible - we could summarize the debate and highlight some ideas and/or questions which seem to be interesting. And then we could even make an own blog where we publish these thoughts.

What do you think - is this a good idea or not?

Ooh I think this is a really good idea. I already have a personal book journal for any nonfictions that I read, because some of were very difficult and I felt like the main points made in the book were slipping away from me as time passed. I summarise chapter by chapter, write down a few quotes I like (some of the professors are very funny:p) and also write down counter arguments. A book journal for this would be perfect too, becuase it will let us ruminate about past debates, and I feel like that would make it more meaningful(: thank yiu beatrice for coming up with the point. Good one
