SOLVED. Paranormal Shifter Romance maybe set in the south [s]

Hi,

My friend and I are trying to remember the name of a book that we read 2 or 3 years ago. We think its a vampire/ shifter romance. It is part of a series. We believe it is set in the south and at the end of the last book the bar that is owned by main character is set on fire and they run back in to save someone and the roof of the bar collapses and that is how the book ends. The bar is a type of sanctuary, safe haven for all creatures and we remember that it had a huge fish tank in the bar.

Have you checked Sherilyn Kenyon's book? There are bars owned by shapeshifters that acted as sanctuary. I don't really read her paranormal books (I like The League better) but I do remember that much. The vampires are called as something else though, in the series.

This might be a long shot, but are you thinking of something from Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series?

Could it be one of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books in one of her series. I think there's a bar there run by were-bears that is a sanctuary for all shifters and hunters.

Thanks everybody for the help. After much searching through kindle archives we found the series/book. Its Kym Grosso's Immortals of New Orleans series. Not sure how to remove post though.
