Pascal Veenstra | 7 comments I think it's a good idea to choose 2 books a month like a novel and an other story (My life on the road) because not everyone loves story's like: My life on the road because it's to "academic", so I think we need to choose 2 books so everyone has a nice month and is able to read a book he/she likes just like Emma.
This is my opinion!

Nikki Cochran | 5 comments Hey Pasca, do you mean two books with us opting to choose one or the other? Although I like your idea, Im not able to commit more time for two books or more with my hectic schedule that already requires I read other books--that's a lot of commitment. Also, I'm guessing, that this club is going to feature a variety of books that reaches academic and your more enjoyable preferences throughout the year. One of the most important things about growing and expanding as a feminist and a learner is to read a variety of genres--to include those varieties you don't prefer. This enhances our education on feminism.

Shannon Osburn | 2 comments I must throw my two cents in here. As a university student, I barely have time for one extra curricular book at a time. I'm sure others would agree that it's really only feisable with a group this large and this out of touch with one another, to commit to one book each month. Now, being an English literature major, I am all for varying the genres month to month! We wouldn't be much of a book club with out seeking the wealth of knowledge and wisdom which lies between the pages of great fictional novels!

Hanah (hdelbook) | 4 comments Though I think it would be fun to read two books in a month for the book club most people do not have time to read more than one book since they have other obligations.
