Just opened Mr Mercedes. Good luck on setting chapter boundaries, the organization of the book is somewhat peculiar. There does seem to be a named section every 50-80 pages that would work.

Well it seems that our September book, World Gone By by Dennis Lehane is now a March 2015 release (I wondered when there was no cover art on it just a few weeks from the previously listed publication date) so we'll need to decide on some fall books in a few weeks. At the least we should have the new Stephen King in November (and yes, it is a scary one - King said it even scared him!) Revival
We have the Cronon in Oct, along with another Sanford. Sept offers LeHane's "The Drop" which I know nothing about.King's Revival is in November.
I'd suggest The Long Way Home by Louise Penny, but I think this series must definitely be read in order so don't want to discourage folks who aren't up to date.Maybe we should create a thread for nominations?

The active Group Read book this month is now John Grisham's Gray Mountain. Chapter groupings for spoilers welcome chapters are set up and ready for the first to snag a copy.

As we wind down the 2014 group read books Gray Mountain and Revival, our poll for the January Group Read book closed with 6 votes for Ordinary Grace We have a new March 10 2015 release date for Dennis Lehane's World Gone By and several suggestions for future books including Reconstructing Amelia, first runner up Sandrine's Case, Robert Crais's The Promise and the aptly named The Big Finish, James W Hall's last (#14) Thorn book. more polls to come!

As you can see on the Group home screen we have some excellent group read books lined up. We have an opening for May. Is Reconstructing Amelia still on anyone's radar? Are there other suggestions for a May group read poll?June and July have follow-up novels by favorite authors we previously discussed reading: Stephen King, Finders Keepers in June, and Harper Lee's surprise second novel for July, Go Set a Watchman
I think the group reads look like so much fun!Can't join in just yet (I retire in December), just too many reviews pending and working full time.

The chapters are not yet available online for The Stranger, I'll start just a couple for that book in case anyone wants to get started "early", release is 24-Mar-2015. Segments for discussion for Reconstructing Amelia are up and ready.
I just missed the coben book I did my library after the first one and the supermarket and there was a copy that just went out of the extras cart now will have to wait on a list or keep checking back that the extra one will come back. But got the other book. Can not believe even though it isn't new it is only a 14 day book.

Finders Keepers is 432 pages long, divided ito 3arts that break at page 154 and 263.Part 1 is broken into "years", 2 and 3 into chapters.
With such an arrangement, maybe write at first chapter break after page 50, 100, 150, etc.

And my copy of reconstructing is still on the current pile.
Looks like a delay in the publication of Karin Slaughter's Pretty Girls which we had slotted for July as a group read but Amazon now lists as 29-Sep for the release...
So we've lined up some books to finish the group reads for 2015 - let's be on the look-out for the books we may like to read for 2016! I edited the top post in this thread with the current list of books selected. We may decide to do a buddy read for one or two of them depending on the interest in the multiple thread segments or something simpler.

Thanks, Ann. Quite a list! I'd also add the third in the Mr Mercedes trilogy. And the third in the Natchez Burning series. Don't know when they're coming out but I think in 2016.
I hope to do the nov and dec books. I already have the dec will see if I can find decide.I haven't done the f2f grp in a few months but the ones they did was this month the Sara Gruen one and the month before was Americah . I just got the upcoming list nov is everything I never told you by Celeste ng, they are deciding on dec and Jan is marriage of opposites by Ann Hoffman.
I just saw the nov is part of a series I have not read yet. So probably won't do that one.
