This category was actually harder than I thought, I can find lots of books that I want to read from 100 years ago. Having issues finding one that is at least 130 years old. I settled with 20000 Leagues Under the Sea published in 1870.

War and Peace. I buddy read this with another member of the IGGLE book group. It was my first buddy read and a really fun experience. Parts of it were really dull so it was great to have someone to chivvy me along. It also got me using Twitter more to connect which is a medium I don't really use or understand so that was a bonus too.

Not sure if it really counts as a book, but I read The Chronic Argonauts, written in 1888. It was a little harder to get in to than I thought, but it's quite interesting reading time travel fiction before it became popular.
