Initial thoughts & expectations

Personally I'm really looking forward to this one...although I probably say that about most of our BOTMs! :P

Like many of the other moderators here (and I'm sure I'll speak for some of you members, too!) this has been on my TBR for a while: I've seen it appearing on Instagram a lot, and I don't think I've read any bad reviews/words about it. I'm excited to start the year with a bit of fantasy too...it's a genre you can't go wrong with (in my eyes, at least). ;)

What are your initial thoughts/expectations towards The Kiss of Deception?

I have ordered the book and will start it as soon as it comes! It sounds really exciting, so I'm looking forward to read it!

This one has been for ages on my TBR, too. I am very excited to read this book! I've a good feeling 'bout it, I've read the first sentence, wich was like BAM!
And at first I could not find it, by chance I saw it in a store where I hadn't expected it so I would like to read the book even better!

I bought this a couple months ago because of how much I had been seeing it all over instagram, esp with the release of book 2 - but I think I kept putting it off because of the love triangle aspect. Don't you ever get tired of reading those?! It doesn't stop me from reading a book, by any means...but sometimes when I've read several in a row, I just need a break. I think I'm safe now though :P it's been long enough and I can handle it again! I'm excited to get immersed in a new world!

Just picked it up from the library today! Can't wait to start reading. Honestly I was drawn in by the cover of the second book and the titles, but to hear so many people on bookstagram like it just gets me more fired up to read it!

I've been reading a lot of books where there's only one romantic interest, so I'm definitely in some need of some love-triangle action.

I definitely agree! Love triangles can be so tiring to read after a awhile xD I don't particularly like them, but so far this book has been awesome! I like that we have no idea who the prince or assassin is (:

I definitely love the cover for the second book! After seeing the third book though, I'm even more pumped about reading this series :D
