It 's a very engaging romance, once you start it's hard to put it down. Very funny the bickering between the two protagonists.
Katy and her mother have moved from Florida to West Virginia. She misses the sun and the sea of Florida. Her mother advises her to make friends with their neighbors who should have her age. They are twins, Dee and Deamon. She is a very sweet girl who is dying to make friends with her while Daemon tries to stop her. He's so crabby that is hate at first sight. They are both so strange and mysterious, which secret they hide?
Katy is a simple and reserved girl who loves to read. She prefers to stay in front of a computer writing a blog to making new friends. But during the story she changes and becomes stronger and resourceful, the perfect heroine. Daemon is really sexy but he has a difficult character,in certain moments you love him a lot and immediately after changes mood and would like to kill. Together they make a perfect couple with a magical chemistry.
The plot is good and quite intriguing, the style is simple, the pace is fast enough. It's a very enjoyable read.

I'm thinking the same. Just looked at my schedule for tomorrow to see if I could function with a few hours of sleep. :)

The Tin Box by Kim Fielding

Qualification: Standalone

Date Read: 31 March
Rating: 4 stars

William is newly divorced and takes a position to be a caretaker of an abandoned asylum. William meets Colby and they become friends. I liked both William and Colby. William had been hiding his sexuality, where Colby was openly gay. Colby helped William explore what he wanted. They didn't rush into a relationship.

While at the asylum William finds a tin box with letters from a patient named Bill who was sent to the asylum for being gay. The letters are written to his lover Johnny in which William tells of how he was treated and what happened to him while locked up. These letters are pretty heartbreaking to read, the things that William had to endure. All in all a very enjoyable read. Sweet and emotional.

I am really loving Joya Ryan. Her heroes are hot, alpha males. Her heroines are spunky. And damn does she know how to write a sex scene. I loved Dex and Michelle. I can't wait to read more by Joya in the future.

Book Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men (Jane Jameson, #2) by Molly Harper 3/31⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How it fits second book in series
I really think I enjoy Molly Harper's books more because I love this narrator! This is definitely a case of the narrator make in the book, because really not much happens in this book, there is a wedding, there is a bad bridesmaid dress, there are people having trouble excepting the fact that Jane is now vampire, and her grandma is newly single and on the prowl. As in the case with most of this authors books, it is definitely more about the characters and less about the plot. I really like Jane, I would like to be friends with her and Andrea and Zeb. Not really sure about Gabriel her sort of boyfriend, honestly I find him a bit sketchy, but I guess he is a vampire. I definitely plan on continuing the series, it was definitely filled with some good laughs a quick little get away from reality.

Undertow (Undertow #1) by Michael Buckley
Undertow by Michael Buckley
Qualification: 1 in a series (Undertow #1)
Finished: 03/31/16
Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

I love not much sci-fi genre but this struck me. The plot is original and intriguing. There's action, adventure, mystery, romance. The beach at Coney Island is conquered by Alpha, creatures come from the depths of the ocean. The city is now under military control and is divided in two parts. To integrate them will all go to the same school. Lyric, the sixteen year old protagonist of this story, will receive the difficult task of helping and spy Prince Fathom. She will eventually fall in love.
Lyric is a great heroine. She's loyal, willing to sacrifice herself to help her family and her friends.
An enjoyable read, allegorical, with much suspense
