Book

How it fits standalone
This book started out pretty good, I really empathize with Molly, and thought everyone was being a bit unfair to her, she made a mistake, and isn't that what teenagers do, make mistakes???
Also her mother wrote a book about her love life, what motivates a mother to do this, is beyond me, I probably would have liked this relations ship explored a bit more in this book. The problem is Molly learned absolutely nothing from her mistakes, and fat she made the same exact mistake again, again, and again, and didn't seem to even realize there was anything wrong with what she was doing. At the end of this book I wanted to throw both Molly and the book out the window!!! I haven't been this frustrated with a book and a very long time!

It 's a good YA, with a perfect mix of romance, mystery and social conflicts. Cass is convinced that everyone, sooner or later, abandon her. She decides to avoid to become attached to the people to not suffer more. But Connor seems different and she wants to try to open herself with him. When he dies, Cass is increasingly convinced of her theory, and especially doesn't know who she can trust. Absolutely she must find out who is the culprit. The characters are very realistic, believable and very different from each other: there are poor, rich, black people, people with disabilities. I have loved the best friend of Cass, Mattie. She's a very sweet and intelligent girl who a bad disease has removed the word but not the will to live. The plot was good and well built, above all the mystery to be solved was very intriguing and compelling. The first part was a bit slow but after the pace gets faster and reading more enjoyable.

It's a romantic story, passionate with two strong and amazing characters.
Jana is too busy to pursue her dream, she wants her professional fulfillment, has no time and desire to have a serious and stable relationship. Her ideal partner is Hunter, a playboy who doesn't want a romantic love story. The chemistry between them is really hot. It seems both pleased with this relationship until she challenges him to do something different, be romantic with a woman. This challenge will make it clear to Hunter what he really wants. Will he win the wounded heart of Jana?
Hunter has always been a playboy who enjoy relationships without commitment. But when he realizes that Jana is the only woman he wants in life, he changes completely. He is willing to wait, complies with her needs and tries to give her safety with his love. He's really a great guy, sweet, sexy, determined. Jana seems cocky and self-confident but deep inside is very fragile and terrified to open her heart, especially with a playboy like Hunter. She had terrible disappointments in the past and it is understandable her fear.
I'm happy to be back in Seaside, I love this city, I would like to live here and get to know its inhabitants, especially women. I love their friendship, the support that they always give each others and their way of welcoming new arrivals.
I love more and more Melissa Foster and look forward to her new release. She creates magical and cozy places to live and characters very realistic, believable and fascinating.

I enjoyed this book very much. The MC's haven't seen each other in 9 years, with one of them thinking the other is dead. I loved reading them reconnect and learn the changes and what they have been through. The secondary characters were interesting too and added to the book. I'll definitely read more in this series, especially as it's seams that Zed and Felix are the series leads.

How it fits second chance love story
This book made me feel and think and then feel some more, really, really good!
Kyland was a great character, he really understood love and sacrifice. Tenly The girl really made me feel, such raw emotion. I really like them together, and I kept turning the pages to see how they were possibly going to stay together or if they were going to stay together.
Another thing that really made me think, was the poverty in this book, it always amazes me how there can be so much poverty and such a rich country.

I'm so glad I finally read the second book with Grant and Harlow. This is the Grant that I fell for in the early books. And I love how strong and confident Harlow was in such a crazy situation. She knew what she wanted and she wasn't going to let anyone talk her out of it. This book was so great. The letters brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. This book was exactly what I was hoping for and more.

This was a reread for me and I loved Sinner's Gin just as much as the first time I read. I love both heroes. Kane's family was the best, really loving and supportive of their children. I liked them accepting Miki and giving him love and understanding. Rhys Ford is one of my favourite authors and I'm looking forward to continuing my reread of this series.

Another sweet and heartwarming story set in by now familiar town of Christmas. I could not wait to read it and I was not disappointed at all. I was happy to discover that most of the characters in this story I had already met in the previous book.
Chloe is experiencing a time not very happy. She's a successful actress but her producers decides to kill her character and has not received any other offer of employment. In addition, her twin sister is going to marry the man that she loved too, and must participate in their engagement party. For the occasion she has to return to her hometown of Christmas. The first person she meets is Easton, her high school crush, and her heart beats fast as the last time she saw him. Chloe wants to destroy the love story of her sister Cat with Grayson and only Easton can help her to achieve her goal. Upon request by Cat, Easton has to check Chloe and avoid her combining trouble. To carry out their plans they have to live together for a week and although they fight constantly, the attraction between them is very strong.
At the beginning in the book I really could not endure Chloe. Hypochondriac, wanting to be the center of attention, rancorous. Throughout the story she evolves and gradually returns to the sweet and awkward girl as she was before leaving Christmas. Under the mask is hiding a fragile woman, insecure, in need of love. The author has done a great job, make people love a character so odious is really hard. Easton is a very sexy man but very stubborn and often grumpy, especially with Chloe. He's also protective, gentle and funny.
This story is really well written, intriguing and engaging with a fast pace. The plot kept me on edge from start to finish, I was excited each time I got to turn the page.

Book

How it fits standalone
Please, do not go into this expecting a love story, it is nothing like anything else this author has written, and it is really good!
It is a page turning thriller, that keeps you guessing until the very end. Maggie was very likable and believable, you could believe a normal girl could go about trying to figure out what was going on and her friends life, just like she did. Although I don't have quite as much $$$ as Maggie. It was just crazy what was going on and her friends life, but she was completely unaware of, it made you think of all the secrets we keep, even from Lowe's we are closest to, because of a lot of reasons, I think mostly because we don't want to let people down.
Good book, buy a really amazing author, I would definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed reading things from Daemon's POV. I remember most of the events and it added something to see what Daemon thought of them. And it was also great seeing some new scenes that we never saw before. This ended up not only being Obsidian, but Opal and Onyx as well. Now I really want to finish the series and re-read Origin and Opposition. And I also really want to watch the TV show Roswell, which tends to happen every time I read these books.

I love Jane Austen and I was curious to see her in the role of investigator. It was a really enjoyable read, I was captured from the first page. There were so many twists, political intrigue and a bit of romance. For her heroines Jane Austen had always provided the happy ending that she had never had. Maybe in the fiction she will be able to get it? The book is well written and the historical reconstruction is really good.

While I did enjoy this book, it felt a bit long. It's told in Daniel's POV and sometime being in his head was annoying at times. I really would have loved Rex's POV. However I thought this was a good debut novel from the author and will read the next book. I liked the characters and story.

I really did not realize this was about Greek mythology when I picked it up. Even though the word goddess is in the title, and it is probably a good thing, because I'm not sure if I would have picked it up then, and I did enjoy this book. It also made me think I might be more interested in Greek mythology that I thought I was.
I really liked Kate and appreciated how much she cared and loved her mom. Henry, definitely not one of my favorite characters, he kind of bug me to be completely honest. Although there were so many twists and turns in his book, and things were never quite what they seemed, maybe he isn't quite what he seems, not sure. Although I kind of found that attraction between them unbelievable, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next book.

Thanks Mave. I appreciate that.

I've put off reading this book for awhile and now I have no idea why. I really enjoyed it. There are some really interesting things to think about brought up in this book dealing with PTSD and the aftermath of drunk driving. I loved the characters, especially Kacey and Storm. I was a little thrown off my Trent throughout the book, but his actions made sense later on and then I completely understood things.
There were times that you could tell this was the authors first foray into this genre, but I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.

I so enjoy second chance romances and this one was really good. I have really enjoyed this series so far. I love all the guys on the Cold Fury team and all of their significant others and I'm so glad that we got to see all of the guys and most of the ladies in this one. Hawke definitely fit in with the team and was just as swoonworthy and sexy as the rest of them. I also really liked Vale, although there were times I wanted to shake her a bit. She and Hawke were great and hot as hell together.
This book had a lot of ups and downs and I loved every minute of it. I totally understood Vale's reasons for ending their relationship the first time around. I felt so bad for her. And I agree with her friend Avery that the way things worked out was the best for everyone. I enjoyed Vale and Hawke finding each other again and I enjoyed the little flashbacks that we got into their earlier relationship too, although that prologue was heartbreaking.
I can't wait to read more in this series. I absolutely love it and I know that Max's book will be just as awesome as the rest of them have been. This is my favorite hockey romance series and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I loved book one, so while I was looking forward to this sequel, I was also a bit apprehensive that I would be disappointed. The good news is that I wasn't and I enjoyed this book.
Jamie and Wes are keeping their relationship a secret and that causes tension and problems. I must say I loved Blake, a teammate of Wes and neighbour. He brought the humour. I liked the last third of this book.

It's a very enjoyable reading for a break from routine. The writing is smooth, and the pages fly by effortlessly. A quick and easy read with wonderful chemistry between Jackson and Mollie. An ugly divorce, a finished career, a job that he doesn't love, an injury that still haunts him. Jackson is depressed and doesn't allow anyone to approach. Except for Mollie, his beloved sister-in-law. She has always been in love with him. Now she has a chance to live her dream of love but her sister decides that wants him back.

You definitely should. I've enjoyed them all.
Oh and it's good to know that Us is great too. I still need to read Him, but now I can read them back to back eventually.

How it fits Ted Swarts
I actually think I like this booked us as much as the first book in the series. Logan is a great guy, I really liked learning his backstory, and how much he was willing to give up for his family. Grace was likable as well, although sometimes a bit naïve, and boy did she make that boy jump through some hoops. I enjoyed the list, not sure if I agreed with it, but it was enjoyable, and funny! I also enjoyed how they meant, girls always answer your dorm door when you're in college, it might be the hot hockey star . This book makes me want to watch a hockey game, Dean is next, curious to see how his story goes.

This was a pretty fast paced book and keeps you reading until the end. I liked Holly, she was surprising. Nick was good too. What I do like with these books is the friendships and how they all rally around when one is in trouble.
