Interesting. I didn't realize that book was anything like that. I've been putting it off for a long time. I think it's been on my reading plan almost every month for over a year. The author will be at the big author event up here in April.

I'm reading trent's POV now.

I read Trent's POV too. I think that is even more reason why I liked TTB better because I truly felt the raw pain and REALISTIC manner in which the author dealt with it from both sides.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
Qualification: standalone
Finished:1/27/16
Rating: 4/5 Stars
A young adult really amusing. I loved this family a bit strange, I would have loved to be part of it. It's the story of an English family with three children that tries to deal, in the best way, the big and small problems of everyday life. The story is narrated by Audrey, a girl of fourteen who, after a terrible episode of bullying, has begun to suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. The tenderness and sweetness of her little brother and a friend of her older brother will help her heal and start living again. The language is suitable to a tale of a fourteen year old girl, is a story realistic and credible, I think having five children has much helped the author. It 's a very pleasant reading, there are many funny scenes but also sad and touching moments.

Lauren Dane is a favourite author of mine, no matter which genre she writes in. I love this series and I especially love this first book. I've read this one before, but I love revising Erin, Todd and Ben and seeing how the three of them worked towards a relationship. They suited each other and work well together.

I read this book in one day and throughout nearly the entire thing I was smiling. This book made me ridiculously happy and I am so glad that I finally got a chance to read it. I was a bit apprehensive about Garrett at first. I thought he was going to be too annoying and juvenile for me, but he was so much more than that. Like with Hannah, Garrett grew on me and I couldn’t help but fall in love with his ridiculousness and his hotness. The banter between Hannah and Garrett is great. They had me laughing throughout the book and I could never wipe the smile off of my face. I’m glad I was reading alone in my room or my roommate would have worried about me. There is one part where I know she had to have heard me laughing cause I ended up laughing so hard I snorted.
I loved the way this book progressed. There was a delicious slow burn between Garrett and Hannah that made their relationship even more amazing when it finally happened. Neither of them expected the other and I loved that. They didn’t go into their tutor/tutee relationship expecting anything but what was a part of the deal. A friendship was seemingly out of the question and anything more than that was a joke, but the unexpected happens every day.
This book is definitely going on the re-read list and Garrett is going on the book boyfriend list. And Hannah…I loved Hannah so much. She was spunky and after what she’d been through, she was so much stronger and more alive than other heroines I’ve read about in the same or near same position. She’s definitely going on my favorite female characters list. Gosh, I wish I could re-read this already. But instead I will focus on reading Logan’s book and then Dean’s book. I loved both of these guys in The Deal and I can’t wait to see what happens with them.

When you read book 2, try to treat it as a whole different entity. I find that when people expect the same as book 1, they leave disappointed. I liked book 2 but I didn't read it right after book 1. I left some time and then later came back with fresh eyes and stuff

I'm so glad there are so many romance lovers!!!
So many people say they will read anything, but romance, WHAT???!!!

Book

How it fits second book and series
I knew when I started this that Leah was all kinds of messed up, but I didn't really realize how messed up she really was! I listened to this book on audio, so it was really like being in her head for almost 8 hours , The girl couldn't really justify just about anything she did. But, that's the cool thing about reading about crazy, you can visit, but you don't have to live there! Also this book made you understand how she became who she became, she clearly did not have great parenting, that is for sure! SO if you liked the first book in the series, I would definitely recommend reading this, it's still all kinds of crazy, still all kinds of twists and turns, still keeps you turning the pages as fast as you can. Can't wait to start the third book in the series, and get Caleb's POB, something tells me he's as screwed up as these girls!

This was a truly engaging and delightful read. It was fresh, funny and witty and there was humor, romance, lots of family, friendships. The author does a great job in describing vividly the town, surrounding landscape and the resort, she makes you feel like you are actually there. Maddie has lost everything in a few days: her job, her boyfriend and her mother. The only possibility that remains to her is the resort that her mother left to manage on her and her stepsisters. It's in Lucky Harbor, a charming seaside town in Washington state. She leaves Los Angeles and all her delusions to begin a new life and try to change her character too weak and submissive. Soon as she arrives, she meets / collides with the man more attractive and sexy of the city. What a pity that she has given up forever to men.

I'm so glad there are so many romance lovers!!!

I used to be one of those crazy people that wouldn't read romance. Now I have to have at least some romance in every book I read. lol

I loved this one. It was fun and sweet story. Wes and Jamie has good chemistry and I really loved seeing them fall in love. And really combination of authors Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen it had to be a winner. This has all the combinations I love - friends to lovers, gay for you, sport. Can't wait for the sequel book.

I barely started the first chapter before I was laughing out loud. Of course, I started reading this in public and had to stop so people didn’t think I was crazy. Once I was in the privacy of my own home, I kept reading and I kept laughing. This book was hilarious and I’m so glad I read it. I connected with Violet in a really crazy way and Alex is definitely book boyfriend material. I highlighted the crap out of this book. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I hope they are even just half as funny as this one.
I didn’t think there was too much sex in the book, although I do agree that I got a little tired of how often she talked about Alex’s monster C. Of course it’s big and perfect, aren’t they all…in books of course. But it was a little over the top at times. However, all of the beaver references were hilarious. I will definitely check out more by this author when I have the time.

I recommend it. I laughed a lot. I really enjoyed it.

It's a light romance but very pleasant and relaxing. It's the ideal reading after a stressful day at work. There is a sweet and romantic love story between a strong and stubborn woman and a really sexy sailor with a former husband as a disturber. I also liked to meet again Maddie and Jax, the protagonists of the first episode, and see evolve their relationship. I really like Lucky Harbor and its amazing inhabitants: a really pleasant and peaceful seaside town.

Book

Fits second book and series
This was a pretty typical love story, with some pretty amazing characters. This is the second book in the series, and I have to say I would love to be part of this family! Gabrielle is an amazing female character, strong, smart, and an amazing mother. Reese is just a genuine good guy, who gets bonus points because he's a baseball player. I liked the relationship between them, it was sweet, steamy, and realistic. I also really adored Gabrielle's son Sam, he was definitely a great little kid, sometimes kids and these books are cute, but you wouldn't want to take them home with you, this kid would be welcome at my house for sure . I'm definitely going to read the next book in the series, especially after the little hint at the end of this book.

Book

I really enjoy this series. I haven't gotten to the third book yet as I was waiting for to be done on audio as I enjoyed listening to the previous two books. I think the audio was finally released yesterday, so I will be getting to it soon.

Looking forward to the next roll.
