This was historical fiction set during WWII on the island of Guernsey. I really liked it!

Just finished Batavia's Graveyard: The True Story of the Mad Heretic Who Led History's Bloodiest Mutiny. The bulk of the story is on a chain of (at the time) unexplored islands off the coast of Australia.
