He's one of my best friends and he's kinda like my Seth but only sorta... Anyway his girlfriend moved and he's been depressed for months and I've been helping him through it but the other day he asked me what I would do if he told me he loves me and wanted me to be his girlfriend...

Ok well I know he loves his girlfriend so I said I wouldn't date him because no matter what he tells himself he still loves her... And he was all "this is purely hypothetical" and started changing the scenarios to get me to say yes... But he's like my brother... I don't like him like that... But I also know just how fragile he is no matter how tough he acts

I don't think that's a good idea... I'm not even positive he actually does love me like that. There's one other person beside his gf who knows him better than me but it's his girlfriends sister

I have no idea... I'm not about to email him while he's visiting his girlfriend but by the time he's back I'm going to be away for the summer... And I don't want to ruin our friendship because I'm that person he comes and talks to until 3 am whenever he's upset and I couldn't stand to not be there for him
