Stephanie Alger (stephanielalger) Hi all! I participated in the Mount TBR challenge last year at the Pike's Peak level and I ended up DNF'ing and getting rid of enough books to complete the challenge, but hopefully this year I will actually read and enjoy books off of my growing pile.

2. You Have to Kiss a Lot of Frogs
3. Flintridge
4. It's Easy Being Green: One Student's Guide to Serving God and Saving the Planet

6. The Poetic Diary of Love and Change: Volume 3
7. Skinny Bitch: A No-Nonsense, Tough-Love Guide for Savvy Girls Who Want to Stop Eating Crap and Start Looking Fabulous!

Thanks Bev! I'm looking forward to this year! I think I might go through books faster this time because I bought a lot of fiction last year and they are so much quicker to read than all of the nonfiction I tried to get through last year.

Yes, fiction does read faster than nonfiction. Hope you have fun with them.

Stephanie Alger (stephanielalger) I'm starting off with The Picture of Dorian Gray and Other Writings which I have wanted to read forever. I am going to be skipping the "Other Writings" portion of the book, so it shouldn't take too long to read.

Hope you like Dorian Gray--it's one of my favorites.

Stephanie Alger (stephanielalger) I finally finished my first book off my TBR. You Have to Kiss a Lot of Frogs by Laurie Graff. Not very good.

Stephanie Alger (stephanielalger) I read a bunch of my smaller TBR books for Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon and it put me right back on track! Woohoo

I also went through and culled a bunch of books off of my shelf so I don't know if I will even be able to participate next year... I may be completely out of unread books!

Stephanie Alger (stephanielalger) I did not finish the challenge this year, however, I am not blaming myself for this. At the end of the summer my husband and I moved temporarily across the country and I didn't bring any of my TBR books with me (i used the library exclusively during this time), and since we made the move permanent in November I have yet to unpack my books as we have no where to put them yet. SO, I will participate again next year... and I will actually succeed!
