The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices

I love the Infernal Devices about 100 times more than the Mortal Instruments. I've heard a few other people talk about this on BookTube. What do you think?

I love each series. With Infernal Devices, it shows where it started before the Mortal Instruments and shows where Jace and the Lightwoods came from. I love how it isn't just a prequel, but that it actually weaves in with the Mortal Instruments.

I honestly just really love both. I think they are both beautifully written. If I had to choose my favorite, it would probably be The Mortal Instruments. I don't know why. Cassie is An amazing writer and I can't wait to read Lady Midnight.

Agree. My only complaint though is the length of the chapter. The books are great and amazing, but some are about a hundred pages or around there.

I prefer the Infernal Devices over the Mortal Instruments. I think what became a turn off for me in TMI was how "annoying" and overly romantic Jace and Clary's relationship became. Although, TMI has my favorite character of all time-- Isabelle Lightwood!
