I've been out of town but still reading! I finished listening to Breaking Point, I-Team #5, and The Last Mile, Amos Decker #2 and loved both of them. I also finished reading The Calendar of New Beginnings, Dare Valley #9 and really enjoyed it.
Here are my reviews of all three books.
Review - Breaking Point
Review - The Last Mile
Review - The Calendar of New Beginnings
I'm reading Soul of a Crow by Abbie Williams, Dove #2, and listening to Cold in the Shadows by Toni Anderson, Cold Justice #5.

Wonderful sweet romance Island Rogue
by Charlotte Hughes.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just read the first six books in Charlaine Harris Aurora Teagarden series... Now for a change I have started reading The Girl on the TrainI am enjoying it so far - much better than how I felt reading Gone Girl... I was so frustrated with how horrible the characters were to each other, my bookmark is still sitting half-way through my copy!
The Girl on the Train and Gone Girl are both excellently well written of a genre I call "Contemporary Crap". No socially or morally redeeming value at all.
The latest in a great series, Deep Dark
by Laura Griffin.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished
by Lara Adrian and loved it. Now I'm onto.
by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Love these dark hunter Boys, and I can already tell I am going to enjoy Wulf ;)
I finished listening to Cold in the Shadows by Toni Anderson, Cold Justice #5, and this series continues to be so consistently good! Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, a group read in my Love of Reading group.

I finished reading two stories, Soul of a Crow by Abbie Williams (Dove #2) and Heart Breaker by Erin McCarthy (Nashville Nights #1). Loved the first; the second one was a challenge. Here are my reviews:
my review - Soul of a Crow
my review - Heart Breaker
I'm now reading Dangerous Games by Tess Diamond, O'Connor & Kincaid #1.

Ok, so I finished
dark Hunter number 4. And dawn, I'm so sad to say this was my least favorite :(((. I really thought when I first started it would be great and I haven't really been disappointed in a dark Hunter book yet, BUT I really didn't like the flow of this one. It wasn't centered enough on the relationship to me, and just seemed to jump around too much for me to feel really connected maybe. I did start feeling better closer to the middle end but it was just to late to make an expression. Sooooo instead of going on to a midnight breed like I would normally do now lol, I'm going to jump right in to dark Hunter number 5
, because I'm sure that was just a glitch in my brain or something and hopefully that will be the only time that happens! Plus I was really looking forward to this one, so I'm sure it will be great. All the others have been for me. I've started and I am like usual, very hooked already.
There are a few that I struggled to get through, but like you said...about 3/4 through them I start getting into it. I relate these oddities to the BDB books I didn't love. She always gives me another one I love. I hope you love the next one.
I finished of Dangerous Games by Tess Diamond, O'Connor &Kincaid #2, and here's my review. Since it has one story arc, I'm jumping right into the next book, Game of Lies, a change in my plan.

That book more than any of the others is deeply entrenched in mythology. While I love that stuff, it's easy to get lost in the lore.

Dark Witch in paperback by Nora Roberts. I just finished it and would give it more than 5 stars if I could. FANTASTIC!!.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Mystery, romance and history, Wicked Intentions
by Elizabeth Hoyt, has it all.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...#
Here are a few authors I've been reading this year that I'd recommend:Robyn Carr (Love all her series)
Susan Mallery (Fool's Gold series)
Catherine Bybee (Weekday Brides, Not Quite, and Most Likely To series)
Barbara Longley (Perfect, Indiana series)
Claudia Connor (McKinney Brothers trilogy)
Emily March (Eternity Springs series)
Beth Ehemann (Cranberry Inn series)
Tricia O'Malley (Mystic Cove series)
Sherryl Woods (Sweet Magnolias series)
Sarah Addison Allen (Her Waverly series - only two books so far in there though)
Heather Graham (Has quite a few paranormal series. I'm currently reading her Harrison Investigation series. I've heard her Krewe Hunters series is really good as well)
Melody Anne(Billionaire Bachelors series)
Deann Smallwood (If you're looking for westerns)
Kay Hooper (Bishop Series)

So I'm thinking we are back on track :) I think the only thing that I was starting not to like in the bdb series was too much lessinging society getting page time after around book 5 or so and on. I still loved every single one though but I did have the ones that I liked more than others.

Haha :)
It's weird. I never really thought I was a fast reader. My mom reads about the same pace, so it never really occurred to me.
And I used to play a lot of mmo type computer games that had to have me reading fast too. So I thought it was kind of normal paced.
Haha...you will note Joy, she said that at the same time she said she read two books today right? I read fast as well...sometimes I think I miss stuff that way, but that is what re-reads are for.
The three O'Connor & Kincaid books by Tess Diamond together are the size of a normal romantic suspense book.
I just finished listening to Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys and I'm speechless and a bit shell shocked. I hope you'll read my review. I'm embarrassed to admit I was unaware of this part of history.
I'm now listening to Breathe by Kristen Ashley, Colorado Mountain #4.

Great book, but a frustrating start. Into the Whirlwind
by Kat Martin.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Currently reading the Shadow Heir from the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead. Really interesting book. I have read nearly all of Nora Roberts so I am trying to branch out and find more good authors. My favorite of Nora's usually lean towards her more fantasy series. Hence why I like this current series I am reading...Open to any and all recommendations!
I'm getting to the point that I've read almost ALL of Nora Roberts' books and I think I'm going to go into withdrawal when I reach that point. I just finished "The Secret Hour" and am going to start "The Obsession".
I just finished a short romantic-suspense. Love this author. Montana D-Force

I've finished dark Hunter #5
and #6
by Sherriyln Kenyon . I liked bride and vanes story a lot, I liked Valerius even better. Happy to report feeling better after number #4. Every book I read makes me crazy with anticipation to read Acherons story! He's book 14. Think I can skip a few? Lol ;)
Finished up Blood Brothers
by Nora Roberts, which I loved and am now starting on The Accidental Werewolf
byDakota Cassidy.
Yes, I skipped around a bit and it didn't hurt too bad. But some stuff comes out that I had missed and had to go back to find it.
