Enjoy, Cookie!
Enjoy, Cookie!

The I-Team series gets better with each book. Near the end, they were all 4.5 or 5 star reads.

Good to know because I really liked the first one...

She has become one of my top favorite authors! I did enjoy Nick and Mia's story, though wouldn't say it was a favorite. I did appreciate the author not just going into the back story of the relationship, but also really getting into the trauma of the various situations.

I think you'll enjoy them. They are very easy to get into and kind of remind me of Nora Roberts

I finished The Last Chance Matinee by Mariah Stewart, The Hudson Sisters #1, and very much enjoyed this series launch. Here's my review.
I also finished Charming Sir Charles by Anna Campbell, Dashing Widows #5. I'm a big fan of this series and here's my review.
I'm now reading Falling for Love by Marie Force, The McCarthys of Gansett Island #4.

Favorite of the first three books in the series. Cody is blinded from a chemical accident and has given up on life as he knew it and has become angry, depressed, and withdrawn. Unknown to him, his gather has bought a trained seeing-eye dog named Otis and sent the dog and its trainer Lyssa to the ranch to help Cody to move on. Cody is far from receptive to either of them. Lyssa who was blinded at a young age then was able to regain her site with surgeries knows how it is and is stubborn and persistent with Cody. Not only is this is romance novel, but it tells a great story of what it is like to become blind and having to live in this new world of blindness. I look forward to reading the rest in the series. 5 stars

Daisy, the fourth and final Wallflower yet to find her husband. Her father is giving her until the end of third Season to find her own mate until she is forced to marry his right hand man, Matthew Swift, who she detests. The Bowman sisters have never given up a fight, so she is determined to find someone, along with the help of the other Wallflowers and their now husbands. Swift shows up at the Westcliffe estate, looking nothing like she remembers. His charm and arrogance as Daisy remembers is still there, but he has become extremely handsome and more approachable. But unbeknown to Daisy, Matthew Swift has been attracted to her since they first met. But because of secrets Swift carries, he cannot fall for Daisy or marry her. It is a heartwarming book with all the main characters and Daisy's impish, sweet demure. 5 stars

Jeremy Holt is recuperating and in therapy after a battle injury with Delta. If that isn't enough, he just found out he is a father from a one night stand with his daughters mother, who was killed in a robbery. His daughter Ashlyn has completely closed down and Jeremy just can't get her to open up. Mia Callaway has left a dead end job and a broken heart to come to Angel's Bay to clean out her eccentric Aunts home who has died. Being the closest to her Aunt because of their artistic minds and interests, Mia is the perfect one to clean up and respect every trinket her aunt has acquired. Someone though is looking for something her Aunt has and it making a bit scary for everyone. Ashlyn takes an amazing connection with Mia. So does Jeremy. This is a very sweet, romantic, heartwarming book. I just feel the book got a bit drawn out, which caused me scanning around a bit. But a great story just the same. 4 stars

I thought Extreme Exposure was the weakest book in the series.
Like Jonetta said, they get better with each book. All 4.5 to 5 stars for me too.

Being given an ultimatum to marry the one Rafe's father has decided on, then falling in love with the woman's cousin Hannah was great. I didn't see where Rafe was a scoundrel, just a man who was finding his own self from what his father wanted from him. I loved being back in touch with all the Wallflowers and their families now. I will miss them all. A sweet finish to the series. 4 stars
I finished Killing Jane by Stacy Green, Erin Prince #1, a unique take on Jack the Ripper. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Making Waves by Laura Moore, Beach Lane #1.
