I just finished a good cozy-mystery. Nun But The Brave
by Alice Loweecey.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished Finding the Dream, the last book in Nora's Dream trilogy. I really liked the first two books but this last one... Oh. Em. Gee. lol I cried through the whole thing. lol It was so freaking good. I was crying so much I had to take my contacts out halfway through because I couldn't see! I haven't decided what I'm picking up next. I've got a few kindle unlimited reads to choose from so I may pick one of those before I move onto the next Nora in my library stack.
I gave
to my sister-in-law for her birthday this month. So of course, I am now in the midst of a series re-listen because I needed a refresher. I am up to

I'm planning on starting Whispered Promises: The Art of Deception / Storm Warning
by Nora Roberts very soon ( for the Group Challenge ) - and I was wondering....has anyone else read this book? =)There are two stories in this book
and
Thanks in advance for your reviews and thoughts!
Oops only the first sentence went though! What's happening is I'm in a funk lol. I have 4 books going right now, hoping for the one that grabs me but nothing is, so I start and stop and start and stop. Now I'm afraid to get any more books because I don't want anymore partially read books! I am not currently someone who can push through a book for too long if it's not grabbing my interest by a certain point. I know some of you will push yourself to finish a book even if you hate it but I just can't do it! Is this normal? Lol ,it's a little discouraging.
I'm halfway through
and I am boooorrreed. Been bored. I don't know what's kept me going to halfway but it's probably because of how many sentences I've had to skip because they may as well be talking Chinese to me, incredibly smart people and some kind of science lol. Little romance that I've heard doesn't get any better at least not in this book so I really have no desire to keep reading it. Also halfway into
and been interested in it a little bit (it's a fifty shades type) but for the most part I don't really understand the storyline. And I don't like the main characters so I'm not wanting to finished this one either. Started, but not very far into Midnight Breed book 7
. I can't seem to get myself to want to read it, even though I have enjoyed all the other midnight breed books. This one has a hero that I've just never been very interested in so maybe that's why I don't want to but I don't want to skip it either. Dilemma. Just recently start the second book book two in the Order of the Dragon Knights series
and I'm only like 7% in but I'm liking it. I loved the first one so I'm hoping this will be a winner. To early to tell.
Finished
What We Find by Robyn Carr in hardcover.
Maggie Sullivan, a renown neurosurgeon has lost a teenage patient from an auto accident, is in the middle of a lawsuit, was in a practice where two doctors were indicted for fraud, had a miscarriage and lost her boyfriend. She decides to pack up and head to her fathers campground and home in Sullivan's Crossing at the Continental Divide in Colorado to lick her wounds and assess her life. She meets Cal Jones, one of the campers and is very suspicious of this man. Cal has his own baggage and is helping out around the campground and waiting for the weather to get better to hike the trails. As a romance novel is concerned, this is pretty predictable. But what I LOVED, is how well she defines her characters, the story, the location and their professions. It is so realistic and even at times educational. Even though it was a romantic story, I found it refreshing to have a different sort of story line that wasn't the same old thing. I am so excited to read more about the people. Excellent book!! 5 stars

Currently reading Inn Boonsboro's The Perfect Hope. I plan on reading Jaycee Dugard's Freedom: my book of firsts when done with my current read. I suspect Jaycee Dugard's second book will be a quick read since the chapters are only a few pages long. After that, depending on if I'm suffering from Nora Roberts withdrawal, I may read Hope by Gina Dejesus and Amanda Berry. Nora Roberts' The Witness is also on my To Read list. Call me crazy but really long reads like The Witness, I tend to put off lol
listening to
- really liking it so far.I never thought I enjoy Nora Roberts as must as I do ( of course some books better than others)
I finished listening to Blood Work by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch Universe #7 and Terry McCaleb #1, and enjoyed this slight diversion from Harry's world. Here's my review.

. This book saved me! Number two in Order of the Dragon Knights by Mary MorganI'm just still kind of weirded out that I am reading historical books :)
Though I would probably call it light historical, light paranormal, romance. There's suspense, action, and some mystery. So good!!

and now I just need a general break from paranormal, tortured heroes. Starting
. A little scared this might end up being a new series read for me, but the audio was the Deal of the Day, so the price was right.

I am listening to it. So far I am struggling to keep my attention from roaming. I keep rewinding to figure out what I missed. Maybe because it goes back and forth from past to present.
I finished Bound by Flames by Jeaniene Frost, Night Prince #3, and am glad I waited until closer to the final book's release date. So much happens here that it will be fresh. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Stranded with the Scottish Earl by Anna Campbell.

Jonetta wrote: "That's GREAT to know! It's had mixed reviews so I was on the fence."Not sure it ever completely grabbed me in the "I can't wait to turn the page" way her other books have, but I also didn't dislike it. And by the end, I needed to know what happens next...she is good at a cliffhanger.
I finished listening to Striking Distance by Pamela Clare, I-Team #6, and loved it! Here's my review.
I'm now listening to The Rock by Monica McCarty, Highland Guard #11.
