ABANDONED. Tribe of winged people only men allowed to fly but princess wants to fly

About two years ago I downloaded a book sample onto my phone and absolutely loved it but the phone was lost and I was never able to remember what it was called?
It was about a Tribe of winged people, I think they were maybe Angels? Everyone was born with wings but the race were dying out as as soon as the women flew their bones became weaker and they couldn't have children so only men were allowed to fly. The princess of the tribe was betrothed to a guy in another tribe but she wanted to fly. If I remember right, there were a group of flying ones that came to a gathering and one of them was a girl who had chosen to fly and the sample ended just as the girl jumped off a cliff and had decided to be a flyer instead of stay and have children etc etc. Anyone know the book??? I'm sure it was by a new author at the time?
