Siddhu | 11 comments you guys are amazing!!! I am struggling to finish just 10 books a year!!!!!!! Terrific reading!!!

message 7: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (longbottom-lovegood) Suddhu, don't knock how much you read! It's not the amount, but the quality of books :) And trust me, I have read some awful books this year!

message 8: by Siddhu (new)

Siddhu | 11 comments :)well... reading 10 awful books out of 25 is always better than 5 awful ones out of 10!! Anyway, the books mentioned above appears to be of fantasy genre. Any suggestions among those to start with.. you know.. not so awful kind.. :) Rating appears to be good for all of them!!

message 9: by Colleen (new)

Colleen Fauchelle Hi Siddu, don't worry my husband only gets through two books in a year. That's because I kep saying honey can you do ..... lol

message 10: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (longbottom-lovegood) @Siddhu: If you're looking for fantasy/dystopian then I HIGHLY suggest the Under the Never Sky trilogy. Best third book in a trilogy I have read probably ever. The Mortal Instrument series stays pretty consistently good. If you're going Percy Jackson, read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series first. The second half, Heroes of Olympus, refers to the first half of the series constantly.

Siddhu | 11 comments @ Brittany: thank you very much.. I will start with Under the Never Sky.
Last year, I read some fantasy ones.. 3 books in A Song of Ice and Fire series. one more book called Name of the wind i guess, from The King killer Chronicles series. they are also a good read..

Siddhu | 11 comments Hi Colleen,My situation is also more or less the same :). But in my case, its my manager at office. He promised me that I can have my weekends back once the project is done. Daily commute to office is the only time I read these days. Once I get married, I might have to give up reading entirely I guess :). Only I might be reading through log files searching for errors!!! :)

Brittany (longbottom-lovegood) @Siddhu: I am working through A Song of Fire and Ice veeeeeery slowly. But one day they will be completed! I'll have to look up the King Killer Chronicles and see what they're all about!
