I am just looking for a "Where's Wally?" type of book, I had a series of them in the earl 2000's and they were definitely Australian. I cannot remember for the life of me which Australian animal was the main character, but the book featured all of the Australian animals (as little extra's to find).

Maybe the Hunt With Hooroo series by Murray Van? Book 4 is Hunt with Hooroo: Around the World, I can't seem to find much about the rest of the series.
