I'm making it a point to read at least one book by every black speculative fiction writer I know. There are many who I haven't read a book by so I'm going to change that this year.

As far as the genres, it'll be speculative fiction, mysteries, and thrillers.

Any black/PoC spec fiction authors yall can recommend? I feel like I'm stuck at ground zero -- Butler, Mosley's sci-fi book. (I don't think I'm built for Samuel Delany's writing.) What else is out there?
