Nice job Lanie! and your "Z" and "X" can be anywhere in the title, they don't have to be the first letter :)

message 155: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) There is actually a book titled X. I read it last year for this challenge.

message 156: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) Lanie, I just noticed your first book was Animal Farm and your last book was called Zoo.

I've realized through challenges like this that there aren't a lot of 'J' books. At least ones I haven't read before. lol. :)

message 170: by Jenny, Always smiling! :-D (new)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 12932 comments Mod
I have to figure out a "J" book as well!

I have Joyland by Stephen King put aside for my J this year, per Nancy's recommendation!

I used Joe by H.D. Gordon one year and there's a Joe 2 to use for another year. :)

message 172: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) I'm glad I was able help you out Karen, LOL.

I have 7 books to go.

:) You ALWAYS give me great book recommendations, Nancy! If you're reading it, chances are I'll like it so I usually go look it up and end up buying it too! ;)

I still have 10 books to go! I've been reading nothing but duplicate letters lately! :(

message 174: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments Nancy: That's awesome! Good luck finding your last seven letters.

Karen: That's great. Hey, we're only half way through the year, so you still have plenty of time to read those last ten. Even if a mad scramble to find the last couple of books for the final couple of letters you need in December is required again. ;)

message 175: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) Karen, I've been reading a lot of duplicates as well. There must be certain letters that are used a lot in book titles. I noticed S is one of them! LOL

Yes, S is one of the easiest letters to get. I always find that J, U, X, and Y, tend to be the most difficult.

One year I found myself reading ALOT of I's!

message 178: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) Maybe it's subconscious on our part. I want to read Swan Song and then I tell myself no it starts with an S! LOLOLOLOL

I put Six of Crows as my X. Another S book! I just need to read it.
