Finished book 7 and now reading my 8th book of the year

I set a reading challenge goal of 100 books. Currently, I read 7 books so far.
I am now on book 13 for the year, my goal was set at 30, then I upped it to 35.
Just started book 28, but I have had a number of shorter ones (Average is currently only 262 pages per book). I do have some longer ones coming up though. Two that are just over 500, and one over 1k that I know of.
Just finished book 15 and 16 earlier this week.

The second one is a short story E book taking place shortly after the events in Undercover in High Heels. Now reading a book that, at least on the Nook, runs over 500 pages.
17 down so far this year and am currently reading numbers 18 and 19.
Currently at 22 of 35, 14 ahead of schedule and #23 will be done this evening some time.
I have finished 48 so far - 49 is 24% complete.
I am shooting for 52 this year. 3 books over pace. Will see if I can keep it
I set my goal at 150 this year.But I am already at 72, so I should be well over my goal by the end of the year. Of course, reading 25 books in 27 days while on a work trip didn't hurt :-)
Book 52 is finished. This is 15 books ahead of schedule - however, since my page average is currently at 268 per book, it is a bit misleading. I focus more on pages read, rather than on books read, and for that goal, I am 430 pages ahead right now. That's a little over a book and a half at the current average book length. I was working on the other group challenges - category and alphabet, so I have not tackled the longer books I have in the queue, as they didn't fit the categories I had open.
69 completed. There are so many good books out at the moment.
200 is the target, have completed 44 so far
Wow I've already reached my original goal before March was over and raised it twice to 200 now.I've read so far 102 books (including all the short stuff - and multiple books boxes) according to the official GR statistics this were only 89 books ;-)
A little late to this party- but it sounds fun to take part in the challenge - i will try for 100 - update as soon as i access my library reading history :)
I have read 27 of my proposed 35 books this year. I started at a 30 book goal and quickly upped it to 35. Thinking it may need to be upped again as I am about a quarter of the way through book 28.
Just wanted to remind people that your participation in the thread "Can 1,500,000 pages be read in 2016" is appreciated. Just add the pages of the books you've read to the ongoing total. Every page counts :-)
I read a ton last year, but I want to slow down a little this year. Set 52 for a goal. I am halfway there.
112 out of my proposed 330. Currently 12 ahead of schedule.
I upped my GR goal to 45 from 35 earlier today. Still 14 ahead of schedule.
My friend Neil, who used to be called Kris P. Baykon here on GR, advised me to NOT up my goal again until later in the year, Gary.
19 already this year. original goal of 100 a bit much 75 sounds like it will be more attainable.

I pushed it up to 35 early in the year and then yesterday upped it to 45. I am 15 books ahead of schedule. I expect I will hit 45 in June at this rate.

Trying for 85. On number 40 and I've a week of nothing to do in relative isolation coming up so will no doubt meet m goal. Busy work this year so didn't want to pressure myself too much.

My plan is reading a book a week.. so that makes my goal 52 for this year. 1 Book behind, but time enough to catch up.
I've finished 82 of my planned 150, so I am 33 books ahead of schedule :-)
Currently through 31 books of my new 45 book goal, 17 ahead of schedule. I am nearly finished with book 32.
You probably have other things to do to entertain yourself in addition to reading, Gary.
