Watcha Doin' - 2016.1

So sad to have Bowie and Rickman leave us within this last week - both 69 and both of cancer.

I know. My cousin had hair like that for a few years from what i remember. IT was kind of a sweeped back moheccan - that's the only way i can think to describe it.

Very sad. Rickman made also old good english movies
(I must say, you made me laugh, Lynda)

And, there's #3. I'm very sad to hear about Alan Rickman - he was great as Snape, but I rememb..."
Thank you Lynda, CFDeeDee and Janice for your encouragements :-)
I never had the guts to do it before, but this is just an intro course without some kind of presentation in the end. So that's what won me over. No pressure, no possible faillure in front of a whole audience, just a little group of people acting just as crazy as you are. :-)
Has your voice come back yet Lynda?
So sad, all those people dying in the showbizz :(
I didn't know Alan played in all those movies, just the Harry Potter ones. Now I get the urge to watch all those other movies you all mentioned. Maybe I'll watch a couple over the weekend. :)

Cancer sucks!!!!!

Cancer sucks!!!!!"
Yep, it does. Sad.

Cancer sucks!!!!!"
That is very sad news about her husband. 2016 has not been a good year so far, has it?

Yes, my voice is back at about 75%, thank you for asking. It's nice to be able to carry on full conversations again.

And yes... it would be good to restart 2016. It doesn't look fine so far.

Hopefully, 2016 will only get better from here on in.

Is it nearly here yet

Agreed!
Patrick Rothfuss as he also has a series to finish.

I kinda want one of those haircuts with one side of my head shaved in a pattern

The new show on syfy the Expanse kind of has that type of hair going on actually

Enjoy your long weekend, Cherie!

Class act to the end, that one.
Enjoy your weekend, Cherie! I love the company I work for, but one thing that bugs is that office staff do not get any paid holidays, it's always a vacation day or a week of 4 10's. (I typically work 9-10 hours 5 days a week, so either way I end up short-paid and behind in work).

Have a happy long weekend Cherie!

I'm in the middle of a big cooking day! I'm trying to get a lot of prep stuff done, and freeze a lot of pre-made meals. My mom lives with me, and she is normally in charge of cooking dinner since I work late hours. Well, at 81, she's having a very hard time just standing up and walking, so, I'm trying to reduce the amount of time she has to spend in the kitchen.
I'm running a little behind, since I got all the way to the store (half an hour away), and had to come all the way back, because I'd left my debit card behind.
I should pick up a book, but I think I'm just going to watch an episode of Nurse Jackie instead, while I eat my lunch - just unplug for a bit.

Enjoy your long weekend Cherie.
And that is a good move for Bowie's Album. Research is always good - now let's hope they find a cure.
