We possibly could put in a claim for damages. I guess we will just have to wait and see what the problem is, what the extent of the damage is and what needs to be done to fix it before we decide. The engineer has just called and said he should be with us in about 30 minutes or so.

Thanks, Janice!

My Friday morning has started off crappily (yes, I made that word up) too. Nothing as dramatic as your problems though. I just have a coworker that loves trying to make people feel stupid. She tries to run the office and the bad thing is that our bosses won't do or say anything to her. I did have a little vindication when I asked our boss about what she was saying I did wrong and he told me I was right. The problem is that she creates an unhappy and tense working environment and I HATE confrontation. I can't stand having to deal with her when she is acting like she has been lately. I always feel like I'm having to be on the defensive with everything I say or do. It makes me despise getting up and coming to work.

My husband and I were considering going to see Disturbed, Pop Evil, and Rob Zombie when they come to Nashville in May. But we waited too late to get tickets and now all that is available are "resale" tickets that cost like $200 each!

Good to hear, Lisa!

2nd time I saw godsmack security was trying to contain crowd. No seating there and finally Sully says everyone would be having a good time in front if thesr f-ing a-holes in the yellow shirts would let the crowd be. Wow. You want to see securoty get out the way fast. Have the frontman of the band call them out. They know they have 10 seconds til the crowd turna on them at a rock show. They nevwr interfered again

I can't remember which band it was, but at a rock festival we were at a few years ago the band did this same thing. It was in a stadium so the floor was one big pit but then there were seats higher up for those of us that don't enjoy getting tossed around by the moshing crowds. Security kept trying to stop the people in the pit from moshing, and whichever band was performing at that time told them to back off and let the fans have fun. Security didn't break up a single mosh again. Not even at the same festival the next year.

I've got tickets for a weekend folk festival here in August, too. Headliners are Ruthie Foster (love!), Bruce Cockburn, Corb Lund and Ashley MacIsaac. There are apparently 30 artists lined up including these 4. I wonder if my client will be performing.
Speaking of whom, his company is owned 50% by another of my clients. I was offered a full time job this morning to be administrator for both companies, with lots of flexibility to keep my client base. I would continue to work out of my house for the time being. It would be a guaranteed wage regardless of the number of hours I work/don't work, with an overtime clause. I'm excited, but nervous. I have a decision to make.

Remember, it doesn't matter how hard it is to make a final decision, it's ALWAYS great to have options!
And in case you accept, be sure your new boss understands we need you here in YLTO. Tell him the time you spent here with us is not negotiable. :)

And also my oldest daughter is taking her SAT exam right now.

It's from the 70's I think. And the chorus goes,
And she said Sha la la la la la la
It's gonna be alright
Sha la la la la la la....
It's a ballad and the chorus is sung in harmony.
We were singing and dancing to it the other wasted night and I can't get it out of my head.

Aww!
I don't know if I could ever think of him as my boss. I'd continue to think of him as my client. Instead of paying me by invoice, he'd pay me through payroll. One of the things that attracts me to this opportunity is that I would likely keep my autonomy. I can't see him getting all "boss-like". It would be more like a collaboration - like it is now. At least I hope it would be that way.

Oh, I've just seen your comment that is was a ballad, so maybe not Small Faces then :)

Great work Lynn"
LOL, I have to admit I was a little confused when it seemed to be the song that I found but you were been called amazing ;)
