Watcha Doin' - 2016.1

Yes, I can see it. I quite like it.

Here's the thread

It's about the same, Sandra. The same goes for my chronic condition too. No major improvements but at least it's not getting worse :)

It's actually quite difficult to explain what a neurophysiotherapist does, Peggy. I'm not entirely sure how it works myself! Lol. It's all about the nerves and the brain and the signals they send all around your body and trying to correct them if they are not working properly. With me, I usually lie on a bed and she gives me what I can only really describe as an extreme massage and she also manoeuvres and manipulates my limbs. It's actually quite painful at times and I often feel sore and bruised after. As I said, I don't really know what it does exactly (it's too complicated for me) but it does calm things down for me a bit and offer me temporary relief from the pain that I get, although sadly things revert back again after a few days. I have a long road of treatment ahead but she is confident that I will recover :)

The doctor seemed to be of the opinion that there wasn't much that could be done for my hand. They may well be right but it would have been nice if they had shown a bit more interest and examined it more thoroughly!

I'm not sure if you want advice but for a pinched nerve you might get some help with a homeopathic remedy Hypericum:

I hope you are better soon - and I am sorry the doc did not have a better bedside manner.
At least she did not waste your time and energy with a bunch on unneeded tests, MRIs or dose you with unneeded X-Rays. Frustrating I know but for most people with pinched nerves, damaged knees, torn rotator cuffs and sprained backs - tests and surgery don't speed recovery - many large studies support this.
It is one area where a good physiotherapist is the best treatment.

I just noticed it today, Peggy.

Much better thanks. Having that day off to rest it up rid the trick. The inflammation has gone and only hurts if i push it. I actually managed quite well at yoga last night, just a slight ache right towards the end. Still going to take it easy though. I didn't like the sound of the tendon snapping that Rusalka spoke about.

But glad it's feeling better. Sounds like it's definitely healing from your yoga report.

I'm glad to hear your toe is feeling better, Sarah.

Is Lexx okay, Rusalka?

I thought this would be a really quick question, thus letting the girls behind me get signed as well, but he launched into a story. The worst was the girls behind me got really shitty and I missed some of what he said as I apologised to them and felt so guilty. But damn it! Now I'm angry!
Pretty much he said he had to finish something, then finish the standalone he's working on, and a children's story, but then it might be it, but it may not, and he's thinking now it may be a prequel, not a sequel, but who knows and it could be anything, and whatever it is, it may be out 2018 but depends on what he gets distracted with.
Fair enough, particularly after hearing about his writing process (he gives himself literary dares, which he has to fulfil within the book, and also darettes. Bets himself he can't write a book to address the dare, and then has to do it). We could be waiting for a while.
Incredibly interesting and entertaining though. Very glad I saw him speak. If he comes your way, make an effort.

Hope every one doing well ..
Hope to see you soon guys ..

tumbs up, CFDeeDee!

Hope everything settles down soon, CFDeeDee!

That was crazy! But how exciting to have a one-on-one discussion with him. Or should I say 'monologue'. :)

Make sure you take time for you too. It's all about balance.

That's great! Nice one for asking him. He sounds like a rambling kind of guy. I like the idea of writing for dares.

I apparently was the only person in the line to ask him, how he was. Poor form.
He was very funny though, incredibly entertaining. And you can see how the books come out. He's playing with about 3 or 4 jokes or plays on words or puns, per minute.

We do do a bit of "How's it going?" "Yeah, alright. You?" Yeah, alright"
