I've been away from Goodreads for a while, but now I'm back!!!

Hi everyone, I'm back again here after two years of what you could call a reading burn-out (I simply did not pick up a book anymore), some personal loss and another baby. Now I'd love to start reading again and figured that if anything could motivate me to read again, it would be YLTO.
I'm looking forward to chatting and toppling etc. with you again, glad to be back...

Hi, I am Trudy from British Columbia, Canada. I joined the team a couple of weeks ago, and am already enjoying the monthly group reads and challenge. Although a bit late starting, I am hoping to complete all six continents for the geo challenge. That may be a tad ambitious, but I work best under pressure!

Good luck with the geo cache challenge. I feel I'm running a bit behind myself, but still enjoying the books I've read so far. And hoping to get more done in coming months. Welcome Sheri! We have lots going on bere so feel free to jump in to as little or as much as you like. We have two group reads going on this month, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender and The Scarlet Pimpernel (check out the group reads section for the discussion), plus a monthly challenge to read a book with a doctor in (check out the monthly challenge section for more details), plus we have a read-a-thon aka a toppler, coming up in a fdw weeks which you can sign up to if you wish (check out the toppler section).

I love my local library. I always come out with more than I went in for. And it's not even due to clever sales tricks... Books just lie in wait and ambush me.
Hi! I'm Jody from Nova Scotia, Canada. I joined a book club that gets together about once every 6 weeks about a year ago. I am loving getting together with these ladies but now I'm hooked and want more! Thought I'd give this type of group a try. Everyone sounds very welcoming, hopefully I can ask some questions if this newbie has some trouble navigating my way around.
