The sequel is out in 2018 and is set in world war 1 by the looks of it. Exciting.

I'm not in a hurry either. We can read it later in the year.

Peggy wrote: "I'm not in a hurry either. We can read it later in the year."That's great. I will look forward to it, whenever we decide to read it :)
On Sunday I bought "A Game of Thrones by George R.R Martin". Its in a series of 3 books, can't remember them now. But can't wait to start reading!
There is a buddy read for Golem already set up some where I believe. I still seem to be the only one who hated that book

I know a couple of people who read it and didn't like it either.

I'd be up for a buddy read on this one as well!
My audiobook version is spelled "Jinni"The Golem and the Jinni
The Golem and the Djinni
Both versions are listed in the database.
For the toppler, I used an Audible credit and downloaded Bloodsucking Fiends. I had some time to kill before the toppler started so I browsed through the Kindle Monthly Deals. Bad idea!I had In the Blood on my wishlist and it was $1.99. So I got it and 3 more of the series for $1.99 each:
To the Grave
The Last Queen of England
The Lost Empress
And just because I was so grossed out by Seed, I picked up another one of her books, Within These Walls

"Ohhhh, I want that one."
I had been wanting it for absolutely ages. It sounds so good! I don't know why it took me so long to buy a copy.
I just picked up the audio of The Murder at the Vicarage. I now have a few Agatha Christie's. Hopefully, one of them will win for BOTM. This one hasn't been nominated, but a couple people have said that Miss Marple is their favorite (someone in the nomination thread, I think mentioned it too) and I picked it up because it is the first in that series.
Amy got onto her Kindle account and bought me some $1.99 books. Coal River, The Lies of Locke Lamora, and The Chess Queen Enigma.Oh and I bought Descent and Work Song off of the library sale shelf.
I bought Pope Joan. I've been wanting to read it for a while and it fits into the Geocaching Challenge.
My husband and I went away for my birthday this weekend and we just happened to drive by a bookstore. :) So, of course, we had to stop and I got a nice hardcover copy of What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions and a signed first edition hardcover of Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways To Love Your Body. :) Very happy right now!
Happy birthday Kristie! I like that you just happened to drive by a bookstore. Love those kinds of happenings. :)
I picked up a Kindle daily deal - I Shall Be Near to You, but I got it on iBooks who was offering the same price.
Happy Birthday, Kristie! I really want to read LoLL, Janice, but I have my Tribute challenge book, two library books, and and another Buddy read to get through yet.

No need to pressure yourself. You'll get to it eventually. :)

My lovely parents just surprised me with the beautiful, 20th anniversary collector's edition of 'Outlander'. They bought it to cheer me up as I have been having a bit of a rough time lately. I'm over the moon! :)Outlander
Janice wrote: "What a lovely gift. I hope things start picking up for you, Lisa."Thanks, Janice. It has been a tough couple of months but things have picked up a little bit these past couple of days :) It is a really lovely gift, I'm very lucky.
Two new books this morning - The Blessing Way (Kindle Daily Deal)
Playing with Fire (Audible Daily Deal)
Janice wrote: "For the toppler, I used an Audible credit and downloaded Bloodsucking Fiends. I had some time to kill before the toppler started so I browsed through the Kindle Monthly Deals. Oops, I thought I bought The Blessing Way, but I actually bought Coyote Waits. I kept Coyote Waits, but I had to go back and buy The Blessing Way. Sheesh!
