I was given The Little Paris Bookshop for Christmas, and I picked up The Bird and the Sword on the Kindle Daily Deal today.

Today I purchased Kindle editions on sale (guilt free with an Amazon gift card from Christmas):

Homegoing, Lab Girl, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, and Salt to the Sea.

These are books I have been meaning to read, with extremely long library waitlists.

I got Lonely Planet Canary Islands 6th Ed.: 6th Edition and preordered Age of Myth (which was quite cheap for some reason...)

Lisa (ann), nice haul from the sale. I treated myself to America's First Daughter from that goodreads/amazon sale. I've read it but now I have it. I really liked that one!

I just bought All the Birds in the Sky as it's in the kindle sale. Could be good.

Also bought two of Gaiman's American Gods novellas The Monarch of the Glen and Black Dog. They've been pretty expensive for some time but have now dropped in price significantly so thought I'd snap them up. I love this series.
