Hey guys! In case anyone is a Melissa Marr fan I wanted to let you know that the kindle edition of Graveminder is on sale on Amazon for $0.99! Sweet deal! I read it a while ago and really liked it. I'm a huge Melissa Marr fan. I just figured I'd spread the word.

message 452: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you for spreading the word, Megan!!! I love Melissa Marr!

Also, you're right, Andrea. I have no idea why I didn't think about reporting this. So I'll be doing that right now.

Also, thanks to liberating myself from a job and my hubby working nights, I now have the free time I needed to read and review and come chat with my favorite group of people on here! <3 So I'm hoping you'll be seeing a bit more of me. And I'm hoping to play catch up with all the books that I have been failing to read in time from the months prior. I have already gotten through a considerable chunk of A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas last night. So here's to hoping I can catch up to all of you!

I have Melissa Marr books but have yet to read them. Right now I am buried in ebook arcs to read and review.

message 454: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol. I'm not surprised, Andrea. You like burying yourself in books! <3

message 455: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
there is a website that you can get ebook arcs to review.

message 456: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't have anything to read ebooks from. :(

message 458: by [deleted user] (new)

Theres an app for that?

message 459: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
yes.

message 460: by [deleted user] (new)

That sounds very dangerous. XD

message 461: by Inky (new)

Inky I think you can get the app on your computer too.

message 462: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
you can also get it for the computer,

message 463: by [deleted user] (new)

I have a question. Are we not doing the books of the month this month??? Was I already told about this and just flaked out? Cause that sounds like me...

message 464: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
With school starting back I figured we would just do the series read this month.

message 465: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh ok. Good plan. I really need to catch up on the books from the past months. Like a have a lot of pink books that I had picked back for the pink month. And stuff. I think in total I have like 4 books that I was wanting to finish that were part of a challenge for prior months. You know. <3

message 466: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
OH I totally understand that. I am trying to finish last months books.

message 467: by [deleted user] (new)

At least you have only last month's. I am backed up by 2 months. But I only had four books I was planning on reading.

message 468: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Oh I have more than just last months books to read. I am trying to finish those first.

message 469: by [deleted user] (new)

Well in that case we are in the same boat!

message 470: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
If you look at my currently reading shelf it is like oh my god. I never take stuff off my currently reading shelf unless I actually finish it. I tend to continue to add to it. I think there are like 90 books there.

message 471: by [deleted user] (new)

I never do that. Lol. I don't like reading more than three books at a time or else I never finish them. Lol.

message 472: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Yeah this month I am pretty focused on just getting a bunch of these books read. Several of them are ebooks that I need to get done with a review.

message 473: by Inky (new)

Inky Right now my reading is a little slow because I'm going on vacation Aug 13 to Aug 21 and I'm trying to get all of my schoolwork done so I don't have to do any schoolwork on vacation since I won't have WiFi. During vacation I plan on doing so much reading I won't know which reality I'm in. Lol.

message 474: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Yes, that is the best reading that there ever is Barbara. Reading so much you don't know what is real and what is fiction!

message 475: by [deleted user] (new)

Oooh have fun Barbara! I usually know what's real and what's not but I get super depressed when I finish a book. Like I don't know what to do with myself. Lol.

message 476: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
I am currently in that state of book hang over. Cursed Child has left me with many feels.

message 477: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh no! Lol!!!

message 478: by Inky (new)

Inky I still need to buy that. Probably after vacation but I want to reread the entire series before I read it.

message 479: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm still stuck on book 6. I'm trying not to chicken out and actually finish reading the series to begin with!

message 480: by Inky (new)

Inky Eek! I hope I don't jinx myself but I might just be able to get a Kindle Voyage before I go on vacation which means I won't have to worry about charging it (if what they say about the battery life is true) which means my Grandma won't be on my case about wasting electricity because I'll only have to worry about charging my phone. Woot Woot!
By the way, vacation is going to visit my Grandma who hates the idea of using electricity and hates technology, hence the reason I won't have WiFi. Lol. I'm not kidding, she uses a 10 Watt bulb for the main light in the bathroom. Seeing at night is a new adventure. Lol. She's a very odd individual but it makes things interesting.

message 481: by [deleted user] (new)

I want a kindle!!! Argh!! Ever since you all have been talking about it, I've been wanting one. Well, we shall see what happens.

Oh my gosh. Grandma must be stuck in the old times. My grandmother used to tell me to open the curtains if I wanted light. Lights were for night time.

message 483: by Inky (last edited Aug 08, 2016 06:09PM) (new)

Inky She opens the curtains to spy on people. Lol. She's a spitfire but I love her. And success!!! I was able to get the Kindle Voyage!!! Yay!! Homework first and then I can set it up!

message 484: by [deleted user] (new)

That must be a challenge. XD homework first.

message 485: by Inky (new)

Inky Homework is done for tonight!! I'm setting up my Kindle now. It's so fancy!! I think I'm going to enjoy this!

message 486: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm sooooo jealous!!!!

I need a new Kindle. With all the ebooks I have been getting to read. I need a new one.

message 488: by Inky (new)

Inky That awkward moment when your Twitter contacts get mixed in with your normal phone contacts and you secretly like seeing names like JK Rowling just chilling in there, like you two are best friends and she calls all the time. Lol.

message 489: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
LoL I would totally love for my twitter to do that. That would be bloody awesome!

message 490: by Inky (new)

Inky I think it was a weird feature with my old phone so when I brought my contacts to my new phone they transferred like they were normal contacts. I need to sort through them but it's still nice to see. Lol. One day, one day I'll have real contacts like that.

message 491: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't have a Twitter but my phone does that with my facebook contacts.

message 492: by Inky (new)

Inky I don't mean to keep changing the subject (seriously I'm scatter brained today) but I'm sitting on my porch reading my book and I have a little snack of the Cheetos crunchy things. To avoid turning my fingers orange I'm using chopsticks. I've had 3 people giving me the weirdest look as they walk by. Lol.

message 493: by [deleted user] (new)

My husband eats Cheetos like that Barbara. I don't think it's weird. I like my fingers to turn colors. The only time I do the chop stick thing is when I'm going somewhere too nice. lol. Speaking of food, my husband finally let me try to make something in the kitchen! I mean guacamole! I'm so excited! And he's laughing at me. -.-

message 494: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Lol, we all change the topic randomly. It's why it's chit chat. lol. I don't really eat Cheetos. I love cheese puffs though. Those are really good to me. I don't like the crunchy cheetos. I guess I'm strange like that.

message 495: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm having a blah day today. I'm just having a ugly day. Lol. I tried being productive today but it didn't stop the feeling of feeling ugly. Lol. Like I know I'm not but I was just having one of those days, you know? So how is everyone else today?

message 496: by Megan (new)

Megan (ReadingRover) | 1232 comments Mod
Leela you're beautiful!!! I hope your day gets better.
I hurt my back a few weeks ago and today it's acting up. That's how my day is going but otherwise not too bad. It's a light day with work. Then I'm going to a bbq to see a friend I haven't seen in over a year. I'm excited about that. Tomorrow is my brothers surprise birthday party in Long Island. That should be a good time too. The craziness starts on Sunday when everyone goes away and petsitting really gets hectic.

message 497: by Inky (new)

Inky I am so upset and angry right now. I got all of my homework done for the upcoming week with the exception of the script I have to write. That's a big assignment that I want to spend some time on. I go into my school assignments today just to check I made sure everything was in order only to find out my teacher MOVED UP THE DATES FOR NEXT WEEKS ASSIGNMENTS! Meaning everything for Week 3 is now due on the 21 when I'll be getting home from vacation instead of the 28th like it was originally. Now I'm scrambling to get all the assignments done before we leave today along with trying to pack and get everything else situated. I'm so angry right now I don't know whether to throw something or curl up in a ball and cry! Ugh!

message 498: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks, Megan. <3 thank god I just needed sleep and the feeling went away. But the negative side is that I have only one hour to get ready for work. XD but I do feel better.

Aw, Barbara! Can't you ask your teacher for an extension since they gave no prior notice of this and you mad plans?

message 499: by Megan (new)

Megan (ReadingRover) | 1232 comments Mod
Ugh Barbara that's horrible. I hope you're able to get them done before you leave so you can relax on vacation. Try to take a deep breath and do one at a time. :(

message 500: by [deleted user] (new)

Ah teachers and bosses. Changing schedules without proper notification since forever. -.-
